This time, I would like to tell you about the overhaul work (hereinafter referred to as OH ) that we are actually conducting.
OH is cleaning the dust and deteriorated watch oil dirt that accumulates on the watch, and lubricates the gear shafts and other parts where the watch oil is needed to keep the machine running smoothly. This is work to move.
If OH work is neglected, the oil used will evaporate and the shaft will be scraped, greatly affecting accuracy.
Dirt can also cause various malfunctions and malfunctions, such as the clock stopping.
Therefore, we recommend performing OH every 3 to 5 years to prevent problems.
At our store, we perform overhaul on all watches purchased using the following procedure, even if there are no problems with operation or accuracy during the initial check.

When disassembling the product, we check the condition of even the smallest screw and thoroughly identify any defects or malfunctions before disassembling the product.
Repairs will be carried out thoroughly to repair any areas that are found to have problems with operation, such as cracks or scratches on parts, that are discovered during condition checks.
Finally, we take out the hairspring, a part that is related to the accuracy of the watch, from the balance wheel and correct it into a beautiful spiral shape.
It takes a very high level of skill to restore a distorted mainspring to a beautiful spiral shape.

Even if you don't have the parts for an old watch, our technicians can make the necessary parts themselves, so it can be repaired.
After the repair is completed, all parts are carefully cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner, and once they are refreshed, the parts are reassembled. At the same time, the watch is placed in three positions: on the dial, on the 9 o'clock position, and on the 6 o'clock position. Adjustments are made with an accuracy of at least ± 1 to 2 minutes per day.
