Introducing Benrus' "Three Star" from the 1950s .
Benrus was founded in the United States in 1921 by the three Benrus brothers, after whom the company is named.
The Benrus name became widely known after World War II.
As the post-war economy recovered and demand for watches increased, manufacturers struggled to secure movements.
However, because Benrus had continued to use Swiss-made movements from the beginning, it was able to easily secure them, and this demand led to rapid growth.
After that, the company's growth showed no signs of slowing, and it became a supplier to the US military during the Vietnam War, and at one point it was one of the three major watch manufacturers in the United States.
The "Three Star" we are introducing this time is one of Benrus' most popular models, equipped with an automatic movement.
The dial is a beautiful white dial with gold-colored Arabic numerals surrounded by trapezoidal numerals.
The pop font of the Arabic numerals gives it a casual look, and the red second hand in the center is a nice accent, making it even more casual.
The case is gold plated with a thickness of 20 microns.
As it ages, it changes to a heavy bronze color, which creates an exquisite balance with the pop look of the dial.
It has evolved into a watch that offers a unique style that cannot be found with current watches.
The movement is a 17 -jewel automatic, Cal. FE235 .
The Swiss-made movement ensures stable operation and precision.
It is designed to look beautiful, with features such as a hairline finish on the rotor and a gold-colored movement.

Although this is an automatic winding model, it is made thin so you don't have to worry about it getting caught on your sleeve when you wear it.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
