Introducing the 1963 Citizen "Julie."

Named "Citizen" with the hope that the company would be loved by citizens, Citizen is a manufacturer that has consistently and passionately pursued technology since its predecessor, the Shokosha Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was founded in 1892 to the present day.

The company has led the Japanese watch industry by developing a series of watches that proactively incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as the "Parashock," the first domestically made watch to feature an earthquake-resistant device, and the "Parawater," the first domestically made automatic, completely waterproof watch.

Its technological capabilities are recognized worldwide, and Citizen is now a brand trusted by citizens around the world.

Citizen's Julie is attractive for its understated elegance.
This model was manufactured in the 1960s and 1970s and was a very popular model for women at the time.
Although simple, the beauty of the details stands out.

The dial is a silver dial that shines with a beautiful pure white glow.
The radially finished sunray dial brings out delicate expressions depending on the angle of the light.

The index uses a three-dimensional bar index, which combines visibility with elegance.
It gives a sense of the emphasis on mechanical movement in Japanese-made watches at the time.

Why not add the unique sense of time keeping that only a mechanical watch can provide to your everyday outfits?

The movement is a 19 jewel hand-wound movement.

Size: height: 30.6mm , width: 25.6mm , thickness: 9.5mm , weight: 20g .

The simple round case is sized to fit comfortably on the wrist and is a design that can easily be incorporated into modern fashion.

This is a watch that can be used both on and off the job, and is recommended as an accent for a formal outfit or as a watch that adds class to a casual style.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial is in excellent condition with no noticeable stains and excellent visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.

Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard, black.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
