HELBROS 50's HELBROS / Cal.800C
HELBROS 50's HELBROS / Cal.800C
Introducing "Helbros" from the 1950s .
Although Helbros is not a very well-known watch manufacturer in Japan, it is a long-established watch manufacturer founded in Germany in 1913 .
The company name comes from its founders, the Helbein brothers.
They produce many unique and original watches, from simple three- hand types to chronograph models and mystery dials.
"Helbros" has an attractive military-like look.
The black dial has aged in a unique way that is not seen in other watches.
The subtle white mixed with the black is beautiful and reminiscent of snow falling silently across the night sky, giving it a distinctive, fantastical look.
The indexes are Arabic numerals, and the seconds are numbered around the outer edge.
The Arabic numerals are painted with luminous paint, which makes them appear slightly raised.
This gives the dial a three-dimensional look, making it appear more expressive.
This is a detail unique to vintage watches that you will never see in modern watches.
The round stainless steel case has short, thick lugs and a thick design that gives it a powerful form.
It matches well with the sporty feel of the dial.
The Helbros exudes an overwhelming presence thanks to its details unique to vintage watches and its powerful case design.
The movement is a 17 jewel hand-wound type, Cal.800C .
It is packed with features typical of vintage movements, such as a spring mechanism and a screw balance, and is a beautiful machine to look at.
Of course, with proper maintenance, the accuracy can be guaranteed and it can be used as a practical watch without any issues.
Even now, more than 70 years later, it still runs smoothly, proving that it was made with the advanced technology of the time.
Size: height: 37.9mm , width: 33.7mm , thickness: 10.9mm , weight: 33g .
It is a small size, so it can be worn by people with thin wrists and women.
The casual design, reminiscent of a military watch, goes well with sweatshirts and leather jackets, as well as military and outdoor items, and can be used in a wide range of outfits.
The condition of the watch is that there are scuff marks on the left side when viewed from the front.
There are also some small scratches, but this does not affect use.
The dial has changed due to aging, but there is no corrosion or chipping, so visibility is not an issue.
The movement is running smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
