Introducing the IWC "Schaffhausen" made in 1954 .
The International Watch Company ( IWC ) was founded in 1868 by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, northern Switzerland.
The brand aims to create watches that combine Swiss manufacturing excellence with modern American engineering, and is characterized by a streamlined, sophisticated design that emphasizes everyday ease of use.
Schaffhausen is a place where refined beauty is born, achieved by stripping away all unnecessary decoration that makes the watch easier to read.
The silver dial has a subtle vertical hairline finish.
Depending on the angle of the light, it emits a subdued luster, exuding a modest yet dignified presence.
The index uses a three-dimensional upright bar index.
Each piece is carefully cut and processed to create a finish that exudes a certain elegance without being overly assertive.
The "International Watch Co." logo at the 12 o'clock position features the old logo that was seen until the 1960s .
It strongly reflects the classic look that could only be seen in IWC at the time.
The case is a round stainless steel case with a diameter of 35mm .
The slim, slim case shape and the straight lugs create a silhouette that blends quietly into the wrist while still asserting its presence with elegance.
"Schaffhausen" combines the integrity of a practical watch with the aesthetic beauty of the 1950s .

The movement is a hand-wound Cal.89 .
It has a history of being widely used in everything from military watches to dress watches, and due to its high durability and ease of maintenance, it is a classic watch that continues to be loved all over the world.
Case size: height: 42.2mm , width: 36.8mm , thickness: 10.3mm , weight: 40g .
The comfortable size and minimalist design blend naturally with modern fashion.
It can be worn with a jacket, or even with a knit or shirt to bring out the quiet elegance of the watch itself.
By changing the color of the belt, you can match it with casual styles, and you can use it in a variety of situations.
The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches from use and no noticeable damage.
The dial is in excellent condition with no noticeable damage.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no problems with use.
It is fitted with an Accurate Foam belt.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)
Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.
