Introducing the IWC "Schaffhausen" made in 1969 .
The International Watch Company ( IWC ) was founded in 1868 by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, northern Switzerland.
The brand aims to create watches that combine Swiss manufacturing excellence with modern American engineering, and is characterized by a streamlined, sophisticated design that emphasizes everyday ease of use.
Schaffhausen is a city where IWC 's distinctive aesthetic sense and a turning point in the times come together.
The dial is a silver dial with a delicate sunray finish.
Depending on the angle of the light, soft shadows are created, giving the piece a deep expression despite its minimal decorative composition.
The slender bar indexes and sharp pencil hands naturally combine visibility with elegance.
In addition, two IWC logos, the old and the new, are used, illustrating the unique background of the brand's transitional period.
The case design is quite unusual, being neither round nor tonneau.
The design is soft yet sharp, with a beautiful balance of straight lines and curves, exuding the aesthetic beauty of the late 1960s .
This watch is fitted with an authentic IWC mesh bracelet, and the seamless line that runs from the case to the bracelet gives the watch a sense of unity.
The unique appeal of this combination is that it has a metallic texture but does not feel heavy, and it fits naturally in the hand while highlighting the individuality of the case design.
Furthermore, the crown is equipped with the so-called "fish crown" that is symbolic of IWC .
The small design indicating the water resistance subtly conveys the idea that this is a practical watch.
The movement is equipped with the automatic Cal. 854B .
This movement can be said to be the perfected version of the famous Cal. 85 series, and is strongly influenced by a design philosophy that assumes robustness, precision, and long-term use.
Its greatest feature is IWC 's unique Pellaton automatic winding mechanism.
The wear-resistant structure ensures stable winding performance even during everyday use, embodying Schaffhausen's philosophy of prioritizing practicality.
Case size: height: 40.3mm , width: 38.2mm , thickness: 10.8mm , weight: 66g .
The simple and elegant design makes it a watch that blends naturally with any outfit.
When paired with a jacket or shirt, it adds a touch of elegance to your hands without being overly assertive, and tightens up a minimalist dress style.
On the other hand, it also blends naturally with casual outfits such as knitwear and cut-and-sew tops.
This watch adds natural depth to your everyday style, whether you're on or off duty.
The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial remains in excellent condition with excellent visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no problems with use.
It is equipped with a genuine IWC mesh bracelet.

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
