Introducing the Longines "Flagship" from the 1970s.

The Longines "Flagship" is one of the company's signature collections, first launched in 1957.

The name "Flagship" refers to the flagship vessel carrying the commander of a fleet.
The name embodies Longines' pride and confidence in continuing to lead the world of watchmaking.

Since its inception, it has been developed as a dress watch with both a refined and dignified design and excellent practicality.
With a sailing ship as the symbol of the collection, it has been passed down through generations, incorporating designs from each era.

The 1970s, when this product was manufactured, was a time when new sensibilities were incorporated into the design of cases and bracelets, in addition to the traditional classical style.
This watch offers the elegant essence of the Flagship while allowing you to enjoy the free design expressions unique to that era.

■ Dial and Case Design

A clean and highly legible design with a silver dial that reflects light radially, combined with black bar indices and slim pencil hands.

The Longines brand logo and winged hourglass emblem are at the 12 o'clock position, and "Flagship" is written in flowing cursive at the 6 o'clock position.
The simple configuration without a second hand or date display further enhances the beauty of the dial.

The case features a rounded cushion shape, characteristic of the 1970s.
The soft curves of the outer circumference and the calm texture of the hairline finish add a modern touch to the classical dial.

Currently, it is fitted with an aftermarket mesh bracelet.
By unifying the color with the case, the watch maintains its original elegance while achieving a light feel.

■ Movement

It is equipped with Longines' hand-wound movement, "Cal.5601."

This is a 17-jewel, 21,600 vibrations per hour movement, a simple two-hand exclusive movement that displays only hours and minutes.
It is designed in a small oval shape and fits without compromising the case shape or thinness.

One of its appeals is its streamlined design, which limits necessary functions to just time display.
It is a simple and easy-to-use movement that allows you to enjoy the feel unique to mechanical watches every time you wind the crown.

■ Condition

While there is some dirt on the case, it will be cleaned during the overhaul to restore it to as pristine a condition as possible.
There are no noticeable scratches or major dents, and it remains in generally good condition.

The dial shows slight changes due to age, but this can be enjoyed as a natural vintage texture.

The movement is currently operating smoothly, including winding.
Before delivery, it will undergo an overhaul to ensure it is in a reliable state for use.

■ To Ensure a Safe Purchase

All watches handled by our store are inspected internally by a specialized watch mechanic upon arrival and determined to be authentic before being sold, so you can use them with peace of mind.

When purchasing a watch, we will provide it with a new leather strap from our store.
Please select your desired color from the order selection tab when placing your order.
*For watches with original straps or metal bands, the leather strap will be sent separately as a spare and not attached to the watch.
We will also send a dedicated watch case at the time of shipment.

● Important Information Regarding Antique Watch Purchases. Please read carefully. ●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately after your order.
Instead, we request an overhaul (OH) from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This usually takes about 1-2 months).

A specialist craftsman, certified as a Class 1 watch repair technician, completely disassembles the watch, replaces consumables such as internal gaskets, cleans, and lubricates it.
We perform a thorough overhaul, servicing it to an accuracy of about ±1 minute per day.
Upon delivery, we will also send our unique OH certificate, which details the work performed during the overhaul, along with photos of the movement disassembly and servicing.

Of course, due to the nature of used products, there is no absolute guarantee that the watch will never break. However, we take these measures to ensure you can enjoy the watch's original performance and use it with peace of mind in the future. We appreciate your understanding.

When purchasing a product, we offer a 1-year warranty period depending on the model. Even for products past their warranty period, we offer repair services for a fee.
