Introducing a Longines watch from the 1970s.

Longines, rooted in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, is a venerable watchmaker founded in 1832.

The brand's iconic "winged hourglass" logo has been used as a mark of quality since the late 19th century and was trademarked in 1889. It continues to be a distinctive symbol of Longines today.

Known for its focus on precision and reliability, Longines has offered a wide range of models, from dress watches to practical timepieces, throughout the transition from pocket watches to wristwatches.

Among its long history, this is a ladies' watch from around the 1970s.

■ Dial & Case Design

The dial is a soft gold-toned square.
It features a delicate vertical hairline finish, which gives it a subtle sheen when it catches the light.

The hour markers are slender applied bar indexes.
A slightly thicker bar is placed at 12 o'clock, adding a nice balance to the simple dial.

The hands are slender black.
They stand out clearly against the pale gold dial, and despite being a small ladies' watch, the design ensures excellent readability of the time.

The case is a square with rounded corners.
While based on a linear form, the case sides are rounded, giving it a soft impression when worn on the wrist.

The gold-colored case and dial blend seamlessly, and despite the restrained embellishments, the design exudes the elegance characteristic of a 1970s dress watch.

■ Movement

The movement features Longines' hand-wound caliber "Cal.L817.4."

This hand-wound movement is housed in a small ladies' watch and is well-suited to the slim case design.

The reliable craftsmanship of a mechanical watch housed within a delicate exterior is also a charming characteristic of Longines vintage watches.

■ Styling

Case size: Length 25.1mm (including lugs) / Width 20.8mm (including crown) / Thickness 6.6mm / Lug width: 10mm / Weight 13g (including strap).

The gold-toned dial and rounded square case add a subtle elegance to your wrist.

It pairs well with blouses, dresses, and jacket styles, and can be worn like an accessory.

Its simple, understated design makes it easy to incorporate into your everyday wear, allowing you to naturally enjoy the sophisticated charm of a vintage watch.

■ Condition

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial retains its original condition, and visibility is good.
The movement is operating smoothly, and there are no issues with its use.

● Important notice after purchasing an antique watch, please read carefully ●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not hand them over immediately after receiving your order, but rather
we request an overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This takes approximately 1-2 months.)

A professional craftsman, certified as a Class 1 watch repair technician, will completely disassemble the watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean, and lubricate it.
We will perform a thorough OH, adjusting it to an accuracy of approximately ±1 minute per day.
Furthermore, when delivering the watch, we will include our unique OH certificate, which details the work performed during the OH, along with photographs of the machine's disassembly and maintenance.

Of course, due to the nature of the product being used, there is no guarantee that it will never break down. However, we take these measures to ensure that you can enjoy the watch's original performance and use it with peace of mind for the future. We appreciate your understanding.

When purchasing a product, a 1-year warranty period is provided depending on the model. Even for products whose warranty period has expired, we accept repair requests, although there will be a charge.
