Introducing the 1969 Omega "Geneve".
The "Geneve" was widely developed as one of Omega's representative practical watches of the 1960s.
Originally, the name "Geneve" was used for some models from the 1950s, but in the 1960s, it expanded into an independent collection and became popular as a wristwatch with a clean design, different from the Seamaster and Constellation.
The Geneve well expresses Omega's practicality and refined design of the time, with a dial that suppresses excessive ornamentation, an easy-to-wear case size, and an index and hand configuration conscious of legibility.
■Dial and Case Design
This model features a striking silver dial with horizontal hairline finish and a framed Omega logo.
The dial has a fine horizontal hairline finish on a silver-tone base.
Unlike a uniform silver dial, the delicate horizontal lines on the surface catch the light, changing its expression from pale gray to bright silver.
It is a refined dial typical of the late 60s, which suppresses ostentation while maintaining a distinct metallic texture.
The indices are applied bar indices with black lines.
They are slender yet three-dimensional, making the time easy to read even on a silver dial.
The hands are also pencil hands with black lines, giving the entire dial a clean and sharp impression.
Of note is the Omega logo at the 12 o'clock position.
Unlike regular printed logos, this one features the Ω mark set on a framed plate.
It subtly adds depth to the dial, serving as a nice accent on the simple Geneve face.
The case is based on a rounded round case, with the lugs extended slightly thicker and straighter.
While it looks simple from the front, the sides have a moderate thickness, giving it a reassuring presence typical of an automatic winding model.
Another attractive feature of this model is the included genuine Omega stainless steel bracelet.
It offers a seamless connection from the case to the bracelet, and it blends well with the hairline finish of the dial.
You can enjoy the clean aesthetic of a practical watch from that era, which differs from a leather strap.
■Movement
Equipped with Omega's automatic Cal.565 movement.
The Cal.565 is an automatic movement with a central second hand and date function.
It features 24 jewels and a vibration rate of 19,800 vibrations/hour.
This model combines a clean exterior with the practicality of an Omega automatic movement.
■Styling
Case size: Length: 41.2mm, Width: 36.9mm, Thickness: 11.1mm, Weight: 37g
As this model features a stainless steel case paired with a genuine bracelet, it naturally adds a sense of cleanliness to your outfit.
The silver dial with horizontal hairline finish doesn't reflect light too strongly and blends well with calm color combinations such as white shirts, navy jackets, and gray slacks.
The case design is also refined, and despite having a bracelet, it doesn't give an overly sporty impression, making it a versatile watch that can be worn with anything from casual to jacket styles.
It will smartly complete your look, whether with leather shoes and slacks for a polished outfit, or with everyday wear like denim and knitwear.
■Condition
The case is in good condition with minor scratches from use, but no noticeable damage or deep scratches.
The dial remains in beautiful condition with no signs of age or corrosion.
The movement is running well, and there are no issues with its use.
Equipped with a genuine Omega metal bracelet.

●Important information after purchasing an antique watch, please read carefully●
At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not hand them over immediately after you place an order.
Instead, we request an overhaul (hereinafter "OH") from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This period is approximately 1 to 2 months)
A specialized craftsman with a Grade 1 watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean, and lubricate it.
We will perform a thorough OH and service it to a state with a daily difference of approximately ±1 minute.
When we deliver the watch, we will also send our unique OH certificate and photos of the disassembly and maintenance of the movement, detailing the work performed during the OH.
Of course, due to the nature of used products, there is no absolute guarantee that the watch will not break, but we take these measures so that you can enjoy the watch's original performance and use it with peace of mind in the future. We appreciate your understanding.
When purchasing a product, a 1-year warranty period is provided depending on the model. Even after the period has passed, we will provide repair services for a fee.
