ORIS 70's ORIS Cal.742
ORIS 70's ORIS Cal.742
Introducing Oris in the 1970s .
Oris started in 1904 with the construction of a factory on the banks of the Oris River in Hölstein, Switzerland.
We are actively developing movements in-house, and have developed over 200 movements, and the fact that we have received a chronometer certificate shows our high level of technical ability.
In terms of design, we have created many watches that demonstrate our sincere approach to watchmaking, including incorporating highly practical mechanisms that are designed for the people and situations in which they will actually be used, and paying close attention to every detail.
Its history continues to this day, and because of its unchanged attitude, it is even called the ``conscience of the Swiss watch world.''
Oris has a gold case with a two-tone black and white dial and a classic look.
The white outer part has a guilloché finish, and the black inner part has a sunray finish, and the alpha hands on the watch create a gorgeous design reminiscent of watches from the 1950s .
Additionally, the tip of the second hand is painted red, which not only provides a nice accent to the dial, but also improves visibility.
This design can only be achieved by Oris, who pays attention to every detail of the design while emphasizing practicality.
The movement is Cal.742 , a hand-wound model with 17 jewels.
Since the case back is a screw, it is waterproof enough for everyday use, and it is also equipped with a shockproof device, making it a movement that is easy to use on a daily basis.
Size: Height: 37.8mm , Width: 32mm , Thickness: 9.5mm .
It's a boy's size, so it's easy to wear for both men and women.
There are some minor scratches on the case, but both the dial and movement are in such good condition that it is hard to believe this is a 50 year old watch.
Oris has a classic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1950s .
The gold case and highly designed dial decorate your wrist beautifully, so it can also serve as an accessory.
Of course, it has stable accuracy as a watch, so it has specs that you can use on a daily basis with peace of mind.
This is one book I would recommend to both men and women.

At Amboy, when we sell antique watches, we do not hand them over to you immediately after receiving your order, but instead request an overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) from a professional craftsman, and then deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (Duration is approximately 1-2 months)
Our professional craftsmen, who are certified as watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, lubricate it, and maintain it to the point where it is within ±1 minute per day.
We will also send you our own OH certificate, as well as photos of the machine when it was disassembled and serviced, to show you what kind of work was done during the OH upon delivery.
Of course, since the product itself is a used item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we have taken this precaution so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with confidence in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
