Introducing the Rado Balboa V , made in 1977 .

Rado is known as the "Master of Materials".

At the time, Rado was manufacturing watches with gold-colored cases that were easily scratched, and customer complaints were a major issue.
So, in search of a scratch-resistant case material, they turned their attention to tungsten carbide, which is primarily used for tools.

The cases made of tungsten carbide are not only extremely scratch-resistant, but the careful attention paid to how the material is processed allows us to present watches with unprecedented designs.

Not only was it made using a material that no one had ever paid attention to as a watch material before, but its cutting-edge design astonished the world and earned it high praise.

Based on Rado's motto, "If you can imagine it, you can make it. If you can make it, do it," the company continues to actively introduce watches using new materials to the world.

The Rado "Balboa V " we are introducing this time is a model that uses an ultra-hard case made of hard metal material.

Compared to stainless steel cases, hard metal cases are highly scratch-resistant and are less likely to get scratched even with a slight bump.

The design is very advanced, with a wide, cut oval bezel that covers the lugs, eliminating any seams between the watch and the metal bracelet.

The organic shape with its beautiful curves is an impactful design that you will never forget once you see it.

The windshield is made of sapphire crystal with five cut faces.

Not only is this watch highly scratch-resistant, but the five vertically cut crystal glass reflects light in a complex way, creating a glamorous look.

The futuristic, cutting-edge design looks like something out of a science fiction movie, and its beautiful, flawless shine will beautifully adorn the wearer's hands.

The movement is a 25 -jewel automatic, Cal. 2782 .

The ETA movement provides stable operation.

This is a highly practical movement, equipped with a shock-resistant device that is resistant to impacts, and the calendar can be fast-forwarded by operating the crown.

Size: height: 40.4mm , width: 36.8mm , thickness: 12.8mm , weight: 107g.

This is a casual yet impactful watch that gives a solid volume to your wrist.

It goes well with shirt styles, as well as T- shirts, polo shirts, and short-sleeved shirts.

As for the condition, the case is made of ultra-hard material and is in perfect condition without a single scratch.

The dial is in beautiful condition with no signs of wear or fading, and the cut glass crystal has no noticeable scratches.

The movement is working fine and the calendar and other functions are also working fine.

It is equipped with a genuine Rado bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
