While automatic movements became widespread, primarily in men's models, Seiko also began developing automatic watches for women that were easy for daily use.

The "Matic Lady" introduced here is, as its name suggests, an automatic model designed for women.

Despite its small case size, it is equipped with the automatic Cal.2517B movement.

At a time when most ladies' watches were hand-wound, the inclusion of an automatic movement that winds itself with the motion of the arm was a significant feature.

This Seiko ladies' model emphasizes natural everyday usability rather than overt glamour, which is characteristic of the brand.

■Dial and Case Design

The dial is a bright silver.
It features a fine radial sunray finish from the center outwards, which subtly changes its expression depending on how the light hits it.

The indexes are thick, applied bar indexes.
Despite being a small ladies' watch, the three-dimensional indexes make the entire dial appear sharp.

The hands are simple dolphin hands.
They blend naturally with the silver dial while maintaining a clean impression.

The case has a distinctive shape, with angular exterior design combined around a round dial.
While the bezel area is rounded, the outer edge of the case and the lugs feature linear facets, allowing for a three-dimensional appearance when viewed from the front.

Despite its small size, the case sides and lugs are well-crafted, resulting in a balanced look that is not overly delicate.

When purchasing a watch, we will attach a new leather strap from our store before delivery.

●Important information regarding antique watch purchases - please read carefully●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately upon order. Instead, we request an overhaul (OH) by a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is complete (this takes approximately 1-2 months).

A specialist craftsman with a Class 1 watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean, lubricate, and thoroughly overhaul it, adjusting it to within a daily rate of ±1 minute.
Upon delivery, we will also send our unique OH certificate and photos of the movement disassembly and maintenance, detailing the work performed during the OH.

Of course, due to the nature of pre-owned products, there is no guarantee that the watch will never break. However, to ensure that you can enjoy the watch's original performance and use it with peace of mind in the future, we have adopted this policy. We appreciate your understanding.

When purchasing a product, we offer a 1-year warranty period depending on the model. Even for products whose warranty period has expired, we offer repair services for a fee.
