Introducing the Seiko " 44 King Seiko" made in 1964 .

"King Seiko" (hereinafter referred to as KS ) is a high-end line released by Daini Seikosha (Kameido factory) in 1961 , and was born with the motto of "precision that rivals Swiss-made watches."

While the Grand Seiko ( GS ) released by Suwa Seikosha the previous year aimed to be the " best wristwatch, " the KS is positioned as a high-end model that specializes in precision while keeping costs down.

Although the movement is small, it achieves the same level of precision as the GS , making it truly one of Japan's leading luxury watches.
It is still highly regarded as Seiko's pinnacle, alongside the GS.

The 44 King Seiko is simple yet boasts an overwhelming presence.

The silver dial has a simple design without any unnecessary decoration, giving it a vintage feel with a calm and elegant look.
The three-dimensional bar indexes reflect light sharply, and combined with the dolphin hands, they achieve high visibility and refined beauty.
The minimalist design allows the soft texture that develops over time to stand out, giving the piece a timeless appeal.

The case features the powerful lug shape that is unique to the second generation King Seiko.
The straight, sharply edgy design can be said to be the origin of the design that would later become known as the "Seiko Style."
Although it is just the right size, the lugs are prominent and give the watch a sense of solidity.

The case back is embedded with a medallion engraved with the "shield mark" seen on early models, symbolizing the dignity of King Seiko.

The movement is a 25- jewel hand-wound Cal. 4420A .

Combining a robust design with high precision, this caliber boasts stable accuracy despite its low beat of 18,000 vibrations per hour.
This is a historic machine that laid the foundation for later high-beat machines.

Dimensions: Height: 43.8 mm , Width: 15.1 mm , Thickness: 10.9 mm , Weight: 46 g .

The simple and elegant design makes this a versatile piece that can be integrated into a wide range of styles.

In business situations, it gives an elegant impression when paired with a suit or jacket, and also blends naturally with casual wear, adding a classic atmosphere.
This is a piece that can be used for everyday wear as well as special occasions.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial is in beautiful condition with no wear or stains.
The movement is running smoothly and the hacking function works without any issues.
