Introducing the Seiko " 56 King Seiko" made in 1969 .

Seiko developed the Grand Seiko and King Seiko models, which competed for the top spot among high-end domestic watches, and the 56 King Seiko with high-beat specifications was born as the culmination of these efforts.

The Cal. 56 series movement, which was introduced in 1968 , achieved high precision at 28,800 vibrations per hour and was highly praised as a highly practical mechanism that combined automatic winding, a date function, and a slim design.

The production period was short, just a few years, and the dial designs and case variations are diverse, making it a highly collectible series today.

The 56 King Seiko features a rare dial design with Roman indexes that enhance its classic impression.

The white dial shows a soft luster depending on the angle of the light, creating an elegant and calm look.
The three-dimensional " SEIKO " and " HI-BEAT " logos are placed in a well-balanced manner, and the neat composition that makes good use of the white space creates a design that is typical of Seiko.
The sharp, specially shaped hands give the watch an elegant impression without compromising visibility.

The rounded cushion case was a distinctive shape among King Seiko watches of the time.
The polished stainless steel case reflects light smoothly, highlighting its high-quality feel.
The back cover features an impressive design with a gold medallion embedded and the " KS " logo engraved on it.

Furthermore, the one-piece construction provides high water resistance, and the dress-like design is beautifully combined with practicality.

The movement is an automatic Cal.56 series.

It is known as a masterpiece with a highly sophisticated structure, combining thinness with ease of maintenance, and is an important presence that served as the basis for later domestically produced automatic movements.
It also has a manual winding mechanism and a hacking function, making it easy to use for everyday use.

Size: Height: 40.4mm , Width: 37.7mm , Thickness: 10.2mm , Weight: 47g .

The classic impression created by the Roman indexes is suitable for a wide range of occasions, from formal to casual.
When paired with a jacket, it accentuates elegance and blends naturally with shirts and knitwear.
This is a piece that will serve as a high-quality accent for your everyday outfits.

The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches due to use and no noticeable scratches or damage.
The dial is in excellent condition with no wear or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no issues with use.

*During overhaul, the crystal will be replaced with a new one, so the thickness and design of the crystal may change slightly.

Equipped with Scotchgard "Brown" made by Bambi.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
