Introducing the Seiko " 5 Actus" made in 1973 .

The Seiko 5 Actus, which was launched in 1969 , was a series developed with the young generation of the time in mind.

Like Seiko's signature " 5 Sports," it boasts practical features such as automatic winding, water resistance, and a day-date display, but has become popular due to its more affordable price range and diverse design options.

Another feature of the brand is that it is linked to the fashion and lifestyle of the 1970s and offers a playful variety of watches, including colorful dials and unique case designs.

This model was made in 1973 , and its greatest appeal is the brown gradient dial that reflects the color dial culture unique to the 1970s .

The transition from light brown in the center to dark brown on the periphery gives it a beauty that can only be seen in this era.
Depending on the angle of the light, the color can show a warm reddish hue or sink into a calm, dark brown, allowing you to enjoy a variety of shadows.

The index is a three-dimensional bar type with intricate cuts that reflect light.
The combination of the dolphin hand minute hand and slim hour hand results in a neat and highly visible finish.

The case is made of stainless steel and has a smooth, round shape while retaining the volume typical of the 1970s .
The watch is constructed with streamlined lines from the lugs to the bezel, giving it a natural fit on the wrist and a subdued presence that is unique to vintage watches.

The movement is a 23- jewel automatic, Cal. 6106C.

This highly practical movement features a day-date display and combines robustness with consistent precision.
It is a product that can be safely incorporated into everyday use.

Case size: height: 40.9mm , width: 37.5mm , thickness: 11mm , weight: 78g .

The gradient brown dial is attractive for its versatility, blending naturally with both classic and casual styles.
When combined with a leather belt, it creates an elegant and calm atmosphere and goes perfectly with a jacket style.
On the other hand, even when paired with casual outfits such as denim or knitwear, it adds just the right amount of individuality and depth to your wrist.
This is a versatile piece that can be used for a wide range of occasions, from everyday wear to special occasions.

The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches from use and no noticeable damage or chips.
The dial is in excellent condition, free from stains and corrosion, and has excellent legibility.
The movement is running smoothly and the day-date function works without any issues.
During the initial inspection, the windshield was replaced with a new genuine glass.
It is fitted with an aftermarket metal bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.

Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
