Introducing Technos' "Skybird" from the 1970s .

Technos was founded in 1900 by watchmaker Melchior Gunzinger in the Jura region of Switzerland as a watchmaking workshop.

Later, in 1924 , his son Josef Gunzinger began manufacturing watches under the Technos brand.
In the 1970s, it was exported worldwide and became especially popular in Brazil and Japan.

Technos is named after the Greek word "techne" (technology), and as the name suggests, technology is our core philosophy.
The brand's commitment to careful manufacturing has led to the release of iconic models such as the Sky series, and it continues to be loved by watch collectors even now, more than 100 years after its founding.

The Technos Skybird we are introducing this time is an attractive piece with a three -sided cut glass crystal that gives off a shine reminiscent of a jewel, and a black dial whose color changes depending on the angle, making it a versatile piece.
Furthermore, it is in deadstock-like condition with very little signs of use.

The dial is a black dial with a special finish.
Depending on the angle of the light, the dial changes from black to dark gray, creating a unique gradation that never gets boring to look at.

The windshield is made of precious three -sided cut glass.
The glass windshield, which has three vertical cuts in the center and multi-faceted edges, requires a great deal of effort and cost to make.
The unique and beautiful luster further accentuates the individuality of this Sky Bird.

The stainless steel case has a rare case design that emphasizes roundness.
The lack of edges gives the case a soft impression, which balances well with the distinctive dial.

The Skybird is a fun design that is full of personality and is reminiscent of the 1970s .

The movement is an automatic with 25 jewels, Cal. 2632 .

The movement is made by ETA, a major Swiss movement manufacturer.
Although it is still in widespread use, it boasts stable operation and ease of maintenance.
Due to the large number of units produced, there are still many parts in circulation, making it easy to maintain.

This is also a recommended movement for those purchasing a vintage watch for the first time.

Size: height: 40.9mm , width: 38.3mm , thickness: 12.6mm , weight: 97g .

The Skybird, with its striking and unique design, goes well with casual items such as shirts and T- shirts, and can also be combined with other tech items such as nylon materials for interesting looks.

The condition is deadstock with almost no signs of use.
The case has no noticeable scratches and the dial has no wear or dirt.
The windshield is in good condition with no chips in the glass.
The movement is in good working order and the calendar function works smoothly.

It is wearing a genuine Technos metal bracelet, and has some spare links.
The price tag from that time is also included.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
