Introducing Benrus in the 1950s .
Benrus was founded in the United States in 1921 by the three Benrus brothers.
The brand name comes from the surname of the founders, " Benrus ."
The name became widely known after World War II.
As the post-war economy recovered and demand for watches surged, many movement manufacturers struggled to secure movements.
However, Benrus has been using Swiss-made movements since its founding, so it has been able to maintain a stable supply system.
We will leverage this strength to steadily address demand and achieve rapid growth.
Later, during the Vietnam War, the company provided military watches to the US military, establishing itself as a "military supplier brand."
At one time, the company was counted as one of the three major watch manufacturers in America.
The Benrus we are introducing this time is a vintage watch that features an Art Deco design in a square gold case and is packed with details unique to the 1950s .
The moderately aged ivory dial features upright Arabic indexes.
The area around the numbers has a unique texture that changes over time, further enhancing the three-dimensional effect.
This aged feel that has developed over more than 70 years since its manufacture is one of the great charms of this product, as it strongly conveys the atmosphere of that time.
It has a small second hand at the 6 o'clock position, and also has classic functional beauty.
The rounded square case has a classic Art Deco feel, but it fits snugly on the wrist and is comfortable to wear.
The band is equipped with the original Benrus expansion bracelet from that time.
The design blends naturally into the wrist, yet exudes a strong presence.
Benras may be small, but it has its own unique personality and presence.
This is an elegant and tasteful watch that is packed with the charm that only a vintage watch can offer.
The movement is a 17- jewel hand-wound Cal. BR 2 .
This was a hand-wound movement manufactured by Benrus in Switzerland at the time, and despite its compact size, it was a model with excellent precision and durability.
In addition to functionality, the table is also designed with a focus on appearance, with decorations even added to the base.
Size: height: 33.6mm , width: 27.5mm , thickness: 9.2mm , weight: 42g .
Its compact size makes it suitable for both men and women.
The classic and luxurious design goes well with suits as well as casual shirts and jackets.
The case is in good condition with no peeling plating and no noticeable scratches.
The dial is aging, but there is no problem with visibility.
The movement is running smoothly.
It is equipped with Benrus' original expansion bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
