Introducing "Bulova" in the 1940s .

Bulova was founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova as J. Bulova in the southern tip of New York, and in 1911 the company began manufacturing and selling watches in earnest.

In 1960 , the world's first electronic tuning fork watch, the Accutron, was introduced.
Its high precision, with a monthly difference of less than one minute, surprised the world, and due to its accuracy, the Accutron device caught the attention of NASA , and was installed on the famous Apollo 11 mission.

In addition, the brand is highly praised for its innovative efforts and technical capabilities, such as being adopted as the official clock of Air Force One, the presidential plane of the United States.

The "Bulova" we are introducing this time is an eye-catching model with a classic design typical of the 1940s .

The dial is based on a silver dial, with Arabic indexes in a special font and special hands that resemble the shape of a candle.
The highly designed special needle is a rare detail that can only be seen in the 1940s .

The cute round vintage gold case is made of 10k gold plated material and has engravings at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions.

The design and coloring of the dial and case go perfectly together, creating a high-quality design that gives off the atmosphere of a vintage watch.
It's like wearing a piece of art...this is a watch that you can enjoy.

The movement is equipped with a manual winding type Cal.10BC with 17 jewels.

It is a classically constructed movement, like the exterior, including the screw balance and the gear train unique to the small seconds.
When you wind the mainspring, you can enjoy the unique low beat sound.

Size: Height: 37.1mm , Width: 26.4mm , Thickness: 9mm , Weight: 20g .

The size is suitable for women to wear without any problems, but at the time it was made as a men's model.

Despite its small size, this watch has a strong presence and goes well with formal attire such as suits, jackets, and party dresses, and can be worn by both men and women.

The case condition is good with no corrosion or noticeable scratches.

The dial shows some changes due to aging, but there are no problems with visibility and it matches the overall atmosphere.

The movement is working fine.

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not hand them over immediately after receiving your order, but instead request an overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) from a professional craftsman, and then deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (Duration is approximately 1-2 months)

Our professional craftsmen, who are certified as watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, lubricate it, and maintain it to the point where it is within ±1 minute per day.
We will also send you our own OH certificate, as well as photos of the machine when it was disassembled and serviced, to show you what kind of work was done during the OH upon delivery.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a used item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we have taken this precaution so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with confidence in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
