Introducing the Searchina "Water King" from the 1960s .
Certina was founded in 1888 in Glen, Switzerland by brothers Adolf and Alfred Kurt.
Initially, the company operated as a small workshop, producing pocket watches and small parts.
Later, during the period of high economic growth after the war, the company began releasing a series of watches that were highly durable and accurate.
In particular, the " DS ( Double Security )" model, which was released in 1959 , was a groundbreaking model that dramatically improved shock resistance and water resistance, and spread the name of Searchina around the world.
The "Water King" we are introducing this time is a popular model from the dress watch line that combines everyday waterproof performance with a simple and elegant design.
The dial has aged to a soft ivory, revealing a soft texture that evokes the passage of time.
The indexes are three-dimensional wedge-shaped, creating delicate shadows whenever they are exposed to light.
The hands are slender pencil hands, providing discreet yet accurate time display.
The case has a simple round shape.
The straight lugs tighten the overall look, giving it a classic and sharp impression.
The case back is engraved with the iconic crown mark and the words "WATERPROOF SUPER 3," demonstrating the brand's pride and robust construction.
The Water King has a timeless design with a strong presence.
You can enjoy the classic charm that embodies Searchina's history.
The movement is a hand-wound type with 21 jewels.
The movement has the robustness and stability that was typical of Certina at the time, and despite its simple structure, it has also received high praise for its mechanical integrity.
Size: Height: 41.2mm , Width: 36mm , Thickness: 8.2mm , Weight: 35g .
The understated ivory dial and slim form add a touch of refined sophistication to a suit style and fit naturally under a shirt cuff.
On the weekends, pair it with a jacket or knit for a simple yet classic accent.
This is a watch that will add elegance to your wrist whether you are on or off duty.
The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchgard, black.
Comes with an original Certina watch case.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)
Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
