Introducing Citizen's "Rhythm Time" from the 1960s .
Named "Citizen" with the hope that the company would be loved by citizens, Citizen is a manufacturer that has consistently and passionately pursued technology since its predecessor, the Shokosha Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was founded in 1892 to the present day.
The company has led the Japanese watch industry by developing a series of watches that proactively incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as the "Parashock," the first domestically made watch to feature an earthquake-resistant device, and the "Parawater," the first domestically made automatic, completely waterproof watch.
Its technical capabilities are recognized worldwide, and Citizen is now a brand trusted by citizens around the world.
The Rhythm Time we are introducing this time is a model that was produced at a time when wristwatches were still luxury items, with the aim of simplifying the movement structure and design and keeping costs down to sell.
It was released with students and young people as its main targets at the time.
The dial uses dolphin hands and upright bar indexes.
The silver dial has changed to a slightly purple metallic grey over time.
The simple yet unique look is appealing.
The stainless steel case uses Citizen's "Parawater" waterproof case at the time, making it highly water-resistant.
In addition, the crown is designed to be large to make it easier to operate the hands.
Rhythm Time is a product that offers excellent cost performance while also being designed for everyday use.
The movement is a hand-wound type with one jewel.
Costs are kept down by simplifying the structure and reducing the number of stones.
However, it is a highly reliable movement as it is equipped with a shock-resistant device and has stable operational performance.
Size: height: 40.8mm , width: 37.8mm , thickness: 9mm , weight: 37g .
Its compact size means it can be worn without any problems by people with thin wrists or women.
It is also lightweight, so you won't get tired even if you wear it for a long time.
The simple design makes it suitable for a wide range of styles, from business to casual.
The condition is good with only a few small scratches on the case and no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed over time, but there is no corrosion or chipping and it remains highly legible.
The movement is running smoothly without any issues.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
