Introducing the Citizen "Homer Date" from the 1960s .

Named "Citizen" with the hope that the company would be loved by citizens, Citizen is a manufacturer that has consistently and passionately pursued technology since its predecessor, the Shokosha Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was founded in 1892 to the present day.

The company has led the Japanese watch industry by developing a series of watches that proactively incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as the "Parashock," the first domestically made watch to feature an earthquake-resistant device, and the "Parawater," the first domestically made automatic, completely waterproof watch.

Its technical capabilities are recognized worldwide, and Citizen is now a brand trusted by citizens around the world.

The Citizen "Homer Date" we are introducing this time is a highly practical watch that combines a Homer with a calendar function.

The case is a gold-plated round case with gold-colored upright bar indexes.
The hands are dolphin hands, a simple design reminiscent of the 1960s .

The dial has aged to a dark silver color.
The color changes to a distinctive color typical of a vintage watch, and the sunray finish gives it a heavy look when reflecting light.

The calendar at the 3 o'clock position has a gold frame, giving it a seamless, unified finish.
It ensures visibility without interfering with the design.

The Homer Date has a beautiful contrast between the gorgeous case and indexes and the subdued color of the dial.

The movement is a 17 jewel hand-wound type.

It boasts high accuracy and reliability, and is also easy to maintain.
This movement is designed with practicality in mind, featuring a shock-resistant device and even a calendar function.
The calendar function can only be changed by turning the hands.

Size: height: 43.7mm , width: 37.2mm , thickness: 10.7mm , weight: 38g .
It is the perfect size for an average man's wrist.
The simple design makes it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from formal to casual.

The aged gold color blends in well with the skin, and when paired with dark colors or a denim jacket, it adds a touch of glamour to your wrist.

The condition of the case is good, with some small scratches from use, but no noticeable damage.

The dial has changed due to aging, but there is no corrosion, so there is no problem with visibility.

The movement is in good working order and the calendar function works smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul we performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
