Introducing the Citizen "Adlex" made in 1975 .

Named "Citizen" with the hope that the company would be loved by citizens, Citizen is a manufacturer that has consistently and passionately pursued technology since its predecessor, the Shokosha Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was founded in 1892 to the present day.

The company has led the Japanese watch industry by developing a series of watches that proactively incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as the "Parashock," the first domestically made watch to feature an earthquake-resistant device, and the "Parawater," the first domestically made automatic, completely waterproof watch.

Its technological capabilities are recognized worldwide, and Citizen is now a brand trusted by citizens around the world.

The "Adrex" we will introduce this time is an automatic winding watch model released by Citizen in 1974 .

The dial is a gradient ice blue.
The ice blue dial has a special finish that creates distinctive shadows on the sides and center of the dial when it reflects light.
Another feature is that the location of the shadows changes depending on the angle of the light hitting the dial.

The indexes that decorate the surrounding area are upright bar indexes, with only the 12 o'clock position featuring a specially cut gold bar.

The casual design of the case, with a rounded tonneau shape in the center, goes well with the ice blue dial.

The Adrax is a watch that combines the distinctive 70 's coloring with a casual feel, and the distinctive shading of the dial gives it a dynamic feel.

The movement is a 21 jewel automatic, 8050A .

Although it is equipped with an automatic winding mechanism, it is made thin at about 8mm .

The calendar function allows the date and day of the week to be adjusted by turning the crown, and the date can be displayed in two languages: English and Japanese.
Furthermore, it is a highly practical movement that is equipped with a hack function that stops the second hand.

Size: height: 36.2mm , width: 35.2mm , thickness: 8.2mm , weight: 50g .

The Adlex with its ice blue dial brightens up the wrist when worn, making it a perfect match for simple shirt styles and jackets.
The casual design makes it fun to pair it with denim or chino pants.

The condition is good with only minor scratches on the case and no noticeable scratches.
The dial is in good condition with no signs of wear, maintaining the same condition as when it was released.
The movement is working fine and all functions, including the calendar, work smoothly.
The glass windshield is replaced with a new one during the initial check.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
