Introducing the 1969 Citizen "Crystal Seven."
Named "Citizen" with the hope that the company would be loved by citizens, Citizen is a manufacturer that has consistently and passionately pursued technology since its predecessor, the Shokosha Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was founded in 1892 to the present day.
The company has led the Japanese watch industry by developing a series of watches that proactively incorporate cutting-edge technology, such as the "Parashock," the first domestically made watch to feature an earthquake-resistant device, and the "Parawater," the first domestically made automatic, completely waterproof watch.
Its technological capabilities are recognized worldwide, and Citizen is now a brand trusted by citizens around the world.
Citizen's Crystal Seven was one of the company's most representative automatic models of the 1960s , and features a crystal glass windshield, which was revolutionary at the time.
The dial is a silver dial with a sunray finish that gives off a delicate, radial glow depending on the angle of the light.
The day display is located at the 12 o'clock position, providing both visibility and a visual accent.
The bar indexes are finished in a three-dimensional manner, giving the details a classic yet modern impression.
The series name " Crystal Seven " and " 21 jewels" are written at the 6 o'clock position, and together with the brand logo, it strongly evokes the atmosphere of the time.
The case is round with straight lugs and moderate thickness.
The back cover is a screw-down type, and the design also takes into consideration dust resistance and durability.
"Crystal Seven" has it all: design, mechanism, and texture.
The movement is a 21 jewel automatic, Cal. 5203.
This is a sturdy and reliable movement with a design that achieves a good balance of robustness, precision, and ease of use.
It is highly practical, with features such as the ability to fast-forward the date by operating the crown, and can be used with confidence even by those who are new to vintage watches.
Size: height: 43.9mm , width: 38.8mm , thickness: 11.3mm , weight: 76g .
The compact case design gives it just the right presence on the wrist.
The elegant design can be used in a wide range of situations, both business and casual.
It can be easily incorporated into a variety of fashion styles, including suits, shirts, and plain T- shirts.
This is a versatile vintage watch that can be worn in any situation.
Condition: The case has some small scratches from use, but no major scratches or chips.
The dial has some discoloration in places, but does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and all functions, including the calendar, are working without any issues.
During the initial check, the glass windshield is replaced with a new genuine one.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
