Introducing the 1969 Citizen "Crystal Seven Custom".

The "Crystal Seven Custom" is a series of automatic watches developed by Citizen in the late 1960s , and is positioned as a higher-end model than the "Crystal Seven."

The name "Crystal Seven" comes from the use of a crystal glass windshield , which was revolutionary at the time.

Models bearing the name "Custom" are designed and finished to a higher standard than the standard Crystal Seven, with ingenious design in the case shape and indexes, and a more luxurious dial finish.

Many models are equipped with a day-date mechanism that displays the day of the week and date, making them highly practical for everyday use.

Citizen's Crystal Seven Custom has gained popularity as an automatic model that combines modern design with high practicality.

This model features a gray sunray-finished dial that shows delicate expressions depending on the angle of the light, and a day-date mechanism that displays the day of the week and date.

Details typical of the 1960s can be seen throughout, such as the day-date display arranged in a straight line at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and the pet name " Custom. "

The three-dimensional bar indexes are accented with red and silver, and combined with the orange-tipped bar hands, they add just the right amount of color and individuality to the subdued dial.

The case has a rounded oval shape, and its UFO -like design with a well-balanced thickness and weight symbolizes the cutting-edge style of the time.

This watch beautifully combines Citizen's solid design with the individuality of the times.

The movement is equipped with Cal. 5204 , an automatic winding watch with 23 jewels.

It features a solid design that is suited to everyday use and specifications that reflect the latest technology of the time.
Therefore, it has excellent precision and durability, so even those who are handling vintage watches for the first time can use it with confidence.

This movement is highly practical as the date can be changed by operating the crown.

Size: height: 37.5mm , width: 42.2mm , thickness: 9.4mm , weight: 48g .

Despite its heavy appearance, it is designed to fit snugly around the wrist, so it fits just right.

The pop design goes well with casual clothing such as sweatshirts and shirts, and can also be paired with clothing made from high-tech materials, expanding the range of coordination options.

The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches from use and no noticeable scratches.
The dial is free of wear and dirt and is in excellent condition with excellent visibility.
Although there is some wear on the rotor, the movement is running smoothly and the calendar function works without any problems.
During the initial check, the glass windshield was replaced with a new genuine one.

Fitted with Bambi Scotchguard Brown.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
