Introducing the 1969 Citizen "Seven Star Custom Deluxe".
At the time, Citizen released the Seven Star Deluxe to compete with the popular Seiko 5 series.
Like the Seiko 5 , it had five basic functions - automatic winding, date, day of the week, shock resistance, and water resistance - plus two additional features: a manual winding function using the crown and a glass windshield. The series name was derived from the seven appealing points in total.
Highly practical, and available in a wide variety of designs, it was widely popular, especially among young people at the time.
Along with the Seiko 5 , the Seven Star Deluxe is a representative model that supported the spread and development of domestically produced automatic watches.
The Seven Star Custom Deluxe was a high-end model in the Seven Star series that Citizen was developing at the time.
Combining a robust design with a refined aesthetic, it has garnered a lot of support as a high-quality automatic watch suitable for everyday use.
The dial is a silver dial with a hairline finish.
The subdued luster creates a dignified and elegant appearance depending on the amount of light.
The index is a three-dimensional block type, combining a powerful presence with excellent visibility.
The thick pencil hands are coated with luminous paint, making them highly practical.
The case has a tonneau shape with distinctive indentations on the top and bottom.
The edgy silhouette and the combination of polished and hairline finishes accentuate the three-dimensional effect, giving the watch just the right presence on the wrist.
A simple piece that yet highlights attention to detail.
This model allows you to fully enjoy the unique charm of vintage Citizen.
The movement is Cal. 5270, an automatic with 23 jewels.
Among the Seven Star movements, it was designed as a practical machine with stable precision and durability.
This movement is equipped with a calendar function, making it easy to use on an everyday basis.
Size: Height: 44.2mm , Width: 45mm , Thickness: 11mm , Weight: 65g .
The heavy case design gives the watch a nice impact on the wrist.
The simple and casual design goes well with shirts, denim, T- shirts, etc.
Condition: The case is without any noticeable scratches or chips.
The dial is in excellent condition with no stains or other imperfections.
The movement is running smoothly and the calendar function is working without any issues.
During the initial check, the glass windshield is replaced with a new genuine glass windshield.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard, Black.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
