Introducing Enica's "Star Jewel" from the 1960s .
Enicar is a watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1913 .
The founder is Ariste Racine .
The brand name " ENICAR " comes from his last name, " RACINE ," spelled backwards.
From the 1950s to the 1960s , the company demonstrated its capabilities and originality with a lineup that combined avant-garde technology with playfulness, such as the Sherpa series developed for alpinists and chronograph models designed with the space race in mind.
The brand mark, "Saturn," is an icon that projects images of "space" and "exploration."
The "Star Jewel" we are introducing this time is one of the standard models that Enicar developed in the 1950s and 1960s .
Although it was not clearly classified as a series, this notation is often seen on models with a simple three hands plus calendar.
The dial is white with a slight ivory tone.
The aging process gives it a very natural texture and a warmth that is unique to vintage items.
The indexes are all unified with three-dimensional cut bar indexes, and the shadows they create when exposed to light give the dial a rich look.
Simple bar hands are used for the hour and minute hands.
The folded shape in the middle ensures visibility while also being a beautiful design.
The top of the dial features Enicar's iconic Saturn mark and brand logo, evocative of the brand's identity.
It is a modest piece, yet with careful design down to the smallest detail.
Star Jewel is a vintage watch that you can enjoy for a long time and that will add a touch of class to your everyday outfits.
The movement is the automatic winding Cal. AR1145 .
Enicar manufactures its own movements, and the AR1145 is a model equipped with an automatic winding mechanism.
For a Swiss-made movement of that time, it was highly reliable and boasted practical quality in terms of both durability and finish.
The AR movement is regarded as one of the technological core elements that supported Enicar's golden age in the 1950s and 1960s .
Size: height: 39.6mm , width: 37.6mm , thickness: 11.2mm , weight: 41g .
It has a moderate size and a good unisex balance that suits both men and women.
The simple design makes it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to casual.
It goes well with suits, shirts, plain T- shirts, and more, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of fashion styles.
The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or chips.
The dial has changed due to aging, but there is no problem with visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and the calendar function works without any problems.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
