Introducing the IWC "Da Vinci Line SL " from the 1970s .

In 1868 , American watchmaker Florence A. Jones founded IWC with the aim of creating higher-quality watches by combining American manufacturing techniques for mass-producing parts using machines with traditional Swiss craftsmanship.

Combining American technology with Swiss craftsmanship, IWC has grown into a major watch manufacturer, producing a number of famous models, including the company's signature movement, the Pellaton automatic winding.

The philosophy that was established at the time of the company's founding is still carried on to this day, and the company continues to produce watches that combine technology and advanced technology.

The Da Vinci Line SL attracted attention for its avant-garde design, which was rare for IWC , but it was affected by the quartz crisis and was discontinued shortly after its release, making it a rare model with a limited production run.

Furthermore, there are very few Da Vinci watches on the market equipped with genuine bracelets, making them even more rare.

The dial is an extremely simple design, with a black enamel dial, white lettering, and two pencil hands.

The black dial has cracked over time, resulting in what is known as a "spider dial."
The crack lines that occur along with the unique luster of the enamel are reminiscent of shooting stars sparkling in the night sky.

The genuine bracelet, which is integrated with the case, has a strong taper and a sharp design.
The specially designed bracelet enhances the elegance and style without compromising the beautiful, streamlined lines of the case.

The unique design, created in the 1970s , is an avant-garde watch that is unparalleled even today, and is a watch that allows you to enjoy the chic that is unique to Da Vinci.

The movement is a hand-wound Cal.423 .

Developed as the successor to Cal. 403 , Cal. 423 is a high-beat model with a vibration rate of 21,600 vibrations.

It boasts stable operation and high precision due to its high vibration frequency.

In addition to functionality, attention has been paid to appearance as well, with the parts finished with Cotes de Genève, making it suitable for a luxury watch.

Cal. 423 is the pinnacle of IWC hand-wound movements.

Size: height: 32mm , width: 33.6mm , thickness: 7.2mm , weight: 72g .

The small case diameter makes it easy to wear even for people with thin wrists or women.
The sophisticated design goes well with formal styles such as suits, jackets, and shirts, but it can also be paired with slightly more casual styles such as band collar shirts.

Contrary to appearances, this watch can be worn in a wide variety of styles.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial has cracks all over it, but this does not affect use.
There are also a few areas where a white haze has developed over time, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly.
It comes with a special Da Vinci bracelet.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
