Introducing an International Watch Company "Schaffhausen Türler" from the 1950s.

IWC was founded in 1868 in the northern Swiss town of Schaffhausen by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones.

Based on the unique philosophy of fusing modern manufacturing techniques honed in America with traditional Swiss watchmaking, they established a system to efficiently and stably produce high-quality watches.

■ Dial & Case Design

We are pleased to present this piece, manufactured in the 1950s by IWC, a brand renowned for its steadfast and robust watchmaking.

The dial features the text "International Watch Co. SCHAFFHAUSEN" along with the name "TÜRLER" positioned at 6 o'clock.

Türler is a prestigious Swiss watch and jewelry retailer founded in 1883.
In the era when high-end watch manufacturers maintained strong relationships with prominent retailers, "double-name" watches featuring the retailer's name on the dial were occasionally produced.

The dial has aged gracefully over the years into a pale ivory tone, offering the distinct charm of a vintage piece.
The fine speckles and crack-like aging visible across the dial create a depth and character that cannot be found in the uniformly finished modern products.

The indices are three-dimensional cut bar types, paired with a dot-style minute track on the outer periphery.
Combined with sharp dauphine hands and a slim center second hand, it achieves a dignified, balanced aesthetic characteristic of the 1950s, while remaining understated.

The case is a stainless steel round form.
The gently sloped bezel and the dimensional lugs extending from the case add a sense of strength to the simple design.
The domed crystal also enhances the soft contours typical of watches from that period.

This is a special double-name model that bears the history of both IWC and Türler on its dial.

Introduced in the mid-1940s, the Cal.89 is a 17-jewel, 18,000 vibrations-per-hour, center-second movement.

All watches handled by our store undergo an internal inspection by a professional watch technician upon arrival, and are sold only after being verified as authentic, so you can purchase with confidence.

Upon purchase, we will provide the watch with a brand-new leather strap.
Please select your preferred color from the order tabs.
*If the watch comes with an original strap or metal band, the leather strap will be sent as a spare, not attached.
A dedicated watch case will also be included with the shipment.

● Important Information Regarding Antique Watch Purchases ●

At RESUME, rather than handing over the watch immediately upon ordering, we commission a specialized craftsman to perform an overhaul (hereinafter OH). The watch will be delivered once the OH is complete (this process takes approximately 1–2 months).

A certified 1st-class watch repair technician will fully disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean, and oil the movement, ensuring a thorough overhaul to achieve a daily accuracy of within ±1 minute.
Upon delivery, we will include our original OH certificate, as well as photographs taken during the disassembly and maintenance process.

While there is no absolute guarantee that the product will never break, given its nature as a vintage/used item, we handle our products in this manner to ensure you can enjoy the watch's performance as intended and use it with peace of mind in the future.

For purchases, we offer a 1-year warranty period depending on the model. Even after the warranty period expires, we are happy to accept repairs for a fee. Please feel free to consult with us even if you do not have a repair shop nearby.
