Introducing the IWC "Schaffhausen" made in 1954 .
The International Watch Company ( IWC ) was founded in 1868 by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, northern Switzerland.
The brand aims to create watches that combine Swiss manufacturing excellence with modern American engineering, and is characterized by a streamlined, sophisticated design that emphasizes everyday ease of use.
An IWC Schaffhausen manual-winding model with a classic look reminiscent of the 1950s .
The soft ivory dial has changed over the years to a pale burnt tone, retaining a strong sense of the atmosphere of the time.
The old logo , "International Watch Co." , is printed in cursive at the 12 o'clock position, creating a different elegance from the current model.
The hands use alpha hands, which were symbolic of the time.
The delicate design tapers towards the tip, shining quietly in the light.
The index is a three-dimensional upright bar type.
By combining cutting processes, it gives an elegant finish.
The gold hands and indexes harmonize with the warmth of the aged dial, giving it a soft, vintage feel.
The case is made of stainless steel and has a round shape.
Although simple, it features a slit-like line running down the side.
This design allows the overall watch to maintain a gentle roundness, while creating subtle shadows depending on the angle of the light, combining the elegance and architectural beauty that is characteristic of IWC from the 1950s .
The movement is a hand-wound Cal.89 .
Born in the late 1940s , this legendary machine is known for its robustness and high accuracy, and was even adopted by the British military.
Even now, more than 70 years later, the watch continues to maintain stable accuracy, and its solid craftsmanship is the true essence of IWC .
Case size: height: 41.3mm , width: 36.1mm , thickness: 10.6mm , weight: 37g .
The simple and elegant design blends naturally with any outfit.
It looks great with a suit, as well as with a shirt or knit for a classy look.
The aged dial gives the watch a distinctive look.
The condition of the case is that it has only minor scratches due to use, and no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and can be used without any problems.
