Introducing the IWC "Schaffhausen" made in 1955 .
The International Watch Company ( IWC ) was founded in 1868 by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen, northern Switzerland.
The brand aims to create watches that combine Swiss manufacturing excellence with modern American engineering, and is characterized by a streamlined, sophisticated design that emphasizes everyday ease of use.
Manufactured in 1955 , the Schaffhausen watch embodies IWC's signature refinement and honest craftsmanship.
The dial, which has changed to a soft beige color, has a deep expression that can only be achieved after 70 years, and fully exudes the unique charm of vintage watches.
The dial, which shows signs of aging known as " spots ," has a character that cannot be expressed artificially, and directly reflects the accumulation of time.
The upright bar indexes have a special shape with only the tip being pointed.
The dotted scale on the outer periphery combines visibility with decorativeness, a design unique to IWC in the 1950s .
The hands are powerful dolphin hands, and their slightly muted color harmonizes beautifully with the dial.
The old IWC logo in cursive at 12 o'clock is a classic design not seen on current models, and strongly conveys the atmosphere of the time.
The round stainless steel case is free of excessive decoration, but the sharp-edged lugs create a well-balanced design.
It creates a snug fit around the wrist.

The movement is an automatic with 21 jewels, Cal. 852 .
An automatic movement developed in-house by IWC .
This caliber features the brand's signature Pellaton automatic winding mechanism and is highly acclaimed for its winding efficiency and durability.
Not only does it have excellent operability, but the perarouge and sunburst finishes on the baseplate and rotor demonstrate IWC 's commitment to not cutting corners even in the parts that cannot be seen.
Case size: height: 42.2mm , width: 36.4mm , thickness: 11.1mm , weight: 40g .
This piece is not flashy, but rather captivates with the beauty of white space, so it blends seamlessly into both dress styles and everyday wear.
Pair it with a brown leather strap for a soft, classic look.
Add some black leather accents to make it suitable for formal wear.
The case is in good condition with no noticeable damage.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and there is no problem with use.

When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
