Introducing the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Shadow from the 1990s .

Founded in Le Sentier, Switzerland in 1833 , Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the few true manufactures that handles all aspects of watchmaking, from the basics to the finished product.
The company has developed over 1,000 movements and has left its mark on the history of watches in areas such as precision, thinness, and durability.

The Reverso, which was born in 1931 , features a reversible case designed to protect the watch from shocks during polo games, and has been passed down to the present day as a model that combines functionality and aesthetic beauty at a high level.

The Reverso Shadow, which was released in the 1990s , is a special variation that follows its traditional structure but is finished in subdued tones with a subdued sheen.
Rather than emphasizing decorativeness, the piece expresses its presence through the texture and shadows of its materials, giving it a classic yet somewhat modern feel.

The dial has a neat design based on deep dark tones.
The slightly rounded Arabic numerals blend beautifully with the Reverso's distinctive vertical case, and the minute track on the inside naturally draws the eye to the center.
The luminous hands blend in quietly without compromising the overall look, while still providing practicality.

The case features the reversible structure that is characteristic of the Reverso.
The gadroons engraved on the top and bottom add rhythm and shadow to the linear shape of the case.
This design, which has its roots in Art Deco design, is not merely decorative; it is an essential element that tightens the proportions of the case and enhances its visual perfection.

In the Shadow, the entire case is finished in a satin finish, and the gadroons are not overly assertive.
The shadows that emerge depending on how the light hits them become part of the design itself, creating a quiet and elegant look.

The movement is a Jaeger-LeCoultre manual-winding caliber. Equipped with Cal.822 .
As is typical of the company, which specializes in thin designs, this is a highly refined movement that fits seamlessly into the Reverso's slim case structure.
Despite the constraints of a reversible case, it ensures stable accuracy and durability, and as a practical caliber that supported the Reverso in the 1990s , it can still be used with confidence today.

Case size: height: 38.5mm , width: 24.7mm , thickness: 7.3mm , weight: 66g .

When it comes to styling, the Reverso Shadow is versatile.
It not only looks great paired with a jacket or coat for a neat style, but also blends naturally with simple outfits like shirts and knitwear, adding a quiet elegance.
The linear case design fits comfortably under the cuffs of your wrist, ensuring the watch doesn't stand out.

With its timeless design and restrained expression, this is a piece that can be enjoyed for a long time regardless of age or style.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or damage.
The dial is in excellent original condition with excellent legibility.
The movement is running smoothly and can be used without any problems.

Comes with genuine metal bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.

Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product, but there will be a fee. Even if there is no repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
