LEXON 40's LEXON
LEXON 40's LEXON
Introducing Rexon in the 1940s .
In contrast to the cute, small, round case, the dial has a rough look that comes with aging, giving the "Lexon" a completely different impression between the case and dial.
The dial uses a small seconds system with the second hand located at the 6 o'clock position.
At the time, it was common to place the second hand at the 6 o'clock position in order to make watches thinner.
It has characteristics commonly seen in the 1940s , giving it a classic impression.
The hour and minute hands are leaf hands, named for their unique leaf-like bulge, which gives the watch a soft impression.
All hands are made of blued steel.
To produce the beautiful blue color, craftsmen must harden each piece individually, which requires a great deal of time and money.
The index is printed with Arabic numerals, and the slightly comical font of the time is charming.
The hands and indexes have a classic and gentle feel, while the deep amber color of the dial, which has changed with aging, gives the watch a more refined look.
While the Rexon has the dignified and solemn appearance that is unique to vintage items, it also has a comical and humorous side.
This watch is the quintessence of a vintage watch, a perfect combination of the craftsmanship of the 1940s and the natural changes that occur over time, something that cannot be reproduced by human hands.
The movement is a hand-wound movement with 17 jewels.
Produced by the Swiss company Regalis, this movement has a classic structure reminiscent of the 1940s .
Although it was made over 80 years ago, it still boasts stable operation today, making it a movement that is testament to the high level of technology at the time.
Size: height: 35.6mm , width: 32.1mm , thickness: 8.8mm , weight: 37g .
The size is different from current watches, so it can be worn without any problems by men, people with thin wrists, and women.
Although it is small, the aging of the dial gives it an overwhelming presence, making it extremely impactful when worn.
The casual design goes well with denim, leather, hunting jackets, and other military items.
The condition of the case is excellent with no noticeable scratches and the edges are still intact.
The dial has changed with age, but there is no peeling or corrosion and visibility is not affected.
The movement is stable and there is no sign of rust.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
