Introducing the 1950s Mid-Century "Multifort".

The Multifort was introduced in 1934.
It was an advanced model for its time, combining an automatic movement with magnetic resistance, water resistance, and shock resistance.

It became a bestseller for Mid-Century from the 1930s through the 1950s and was developed as one of the brand's signature collections.
The watch we are introducing today is a 1950s model from the era when the Multifort was widely popular.

■ Dial and Case Design

The black dial is accented by comical Arabic numerals outlined in orange.
The outer edge features five-minute numerals and fine markings, with minute markings also arranged inside.
The combination of wide hour and minute hands with a red second hand creates a striking black, orange, and red color scheme.

The case is round and has a substantial thickness. Despite its small size, it makes a strong presence on the wrist.
The wide lugs taper toward the ends, and the large, deeply grooved crown is also a distinctive feature.
The unique dial and thick case create a powerful impression characteristic of the Multifort.

■ Movement

The automatic mechanism uses a half-rotor system, where a semi-circular weight oscillates back and forth within a certain range in response to arm movement.
When the weight reaches one end, it strikes a spring inside the case, using the resulting recoil to wind the mainspring.

This reciprocating motion, which differs from systems where the weight rotates fully around the center, is also one of this watch's highlights.
The movement is marked with "17 Jewels".

■ Styling

The case size is 35.6 mm (H) (including lugs) / 30.5 mm (W) (including crown) / 12 mm (T) / 30 g (including strap)

The orange numerals and red second hand add an accent to your outfit, so pairing the watch with a plain shirt or knitwear will make its color scheme stand out.
It is also easy to pair with denim or a work jacket, making it a piece that allows you to enjoy individuality on your wrist with casual outfits.

■ Condition

The luminous paint applied to the hands has fallen off, but no other noticeable damage is visible on the dial.
The case has no noticeable scratches or dents. The movement is running smoothly.

■ For Your Peace of Mind When Purchasing

All watches we sell undergo an internal inspection by a professional watchmaker upon arrival, and we only sell them after confirming they are genuine, so you can use them with peace of mind.

We will attach a new leather strap and deliver it to you when you purchase a watch.
Please select your preferred color from the order options tab and place your order.
※For watches with original straps or metal bands, the leather strap will not be attached and will be sent separately as a spare.
We will also send a dedicated watch case when shipping.

●Please be sure to read the following information after purchasing an antique watch●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately upon your order.
Instead, we request a professional to perform an overhaul (hereinafter OH), and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (The period is approximately 1–2 months.)

A professional with a first-class watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, and perform a thorough OH including cleaning and oiling,
adjusting the watch to a state of approximately ±1 minute per day.
We will also send our store's original OH certificate, as well as photos of the movement disassembled
and serviced, along with the watch upon delivery.

Of course, due to the nature of the product being used, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we provide this level of service so that you can enjoy the watch's original performance
and use it with peace of mind in the future, so please understand.

When purchasing a product, we offer a 1-year warranty period depending on the model. Even for products past the warranty period, we will properly accept repairs for a fee.
Even if you do not have a repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
