Introducing Omega's "Half Rotor" in the 1950s .

In 1943 , Omega introduced its first men's automatic wristwatch.
At the time, the automatic winding mechanism did not have a rotor that rotates 360 degrees to wind the mainspring as it does today, but rather the rotor rotated 3/4 of a turn to wind the mainspring.

When the rotor rotates, a spring is installed to soften the impact of a collision, and when it hits the spring, a unique sensation is transmitted to the wearer.
Because of this, it came to be called the "bumper type" or "half rotor".

It is a movement that still attracts many fans because of its high level of perfection, the high design of the model equipped with it, and the fact that you can enjoy the unique feeling of a half-rotor.

A half rotor with a classic look and a leaf hand on the small seconds at 6 o'clock based on a two-tone beige dial with two slightly different colors.
If you just look at it, it looks like a dressy watch, but since the Arabic numerals around it are designed in a pop style and the lugs are designed to gently curve, it can be worn as a dressy watch. It has a very unique design with two sides.

The points in front of the Arabic numerals are painted black, and the small seconds part has a sunray finish to ensure visibility, giving you a sense of high quality in both design and practicality.

The movement is equipped with a 17 jewel, self-winding Cal.332 .
As it was a high-class movement at the time, it was made with great care not only to be functional, but also to look beautiful.

Of course, it is also made with extremely high precision, and even after more than 70 years, it continues to have the precision and durability to withstand everyday use.
It is a movement that allows you to feel how much effort craftsmen at the time put into its development.

The size is 40.2mm long, 35.9mm wide, and 9.2mm thick.
Although it is a self-winding watch, its thickness is less than 1cm .
The size is a little large, but because of its thinness, it doesn't feel that big and has just the right balance.

The edges of the case remain, and the dial and movement are all in good condition.
This model comes with a RESUME original belt.

A half-roater that is easy to wear with both dresses and casual wear.
This item allows you to enjoy a wide range of styles, from formal suits and jackets to casual shirt styles, without having to change the belt.
