Introducing Omega's "Half Rotor" in the 1950s .

 Omega's early automatic half rotor.

A half-rotor winds the mainspring by making a 3/4 turn instead of a 360 ° rotation of the rotor.

When the rotor rotates, a spring is installed on the opposite side as a shock absorbing device, and when the rotor and spring collide, a characteristic "knock" sound and shock are transmitted.
For this reason, the half rotor is also called the "bumper type".

Although a full-rotation type is better in terms of winding efficiency, it is still a movement that is enjoyed by many enthusiasts, as it is fun to feel the movement as it moves.

At first glance, it looks like an elegant dress watch, with its slightly reddish gold flying Arabic and dolphin hands, but the addition of the wedge index and the three-dimensional Ω mark makes it look very different. It gives a powerful impression.

As the matte black dial ages, a white haze-like pattern emerges, and when exposed to light, the haze reflects, giving it a fantastic appearance.

The case is a strong round case, but the lugs are fancy lugs with gentle curves that give a sense of elegance.

This is a watch with an excellent design that seamlessly incorporates a design with diametrically opposed characteristics, like stillness and movement, into one watch.

The movement is equipped with a 17- jewel automatic winding Cal.351 .
The 350 series is a movement that has been changed to a center seconds system with the second hand located in the center.

Although the diameter is compact at 26.50 mm , it has excellent accuracy, and the fact that the later Cal. 352 was adopted in the higher-end model Constellation shows the high level of basic design.

Size: Height: 44.3mm , Width: 35.6mm , Thickness: 11.4mm .
Although it is the center seconds system used at the time, it is thinner and has a size that is easy for anyone to wear.
It can be incorporated into a variety of styles from formal to casual.
The edges of the case remain firm and the movement is working without any problems.
Comes with our original leather belt.

A half-rotor that shows off a variety of expressions to match your style.
It is because she has aged that she is able to express such a deep expression.
This is a vintage, truly unique Omega.
