Introducing Omega from the 1950s .
In 1894 , the Louis Brandt brothers company, the predecessor of Omega, succeeded in developing a revolutionary movement.
Until then, watchmaking was limited to parts of different specifications, which meant that each part had to be adjusted individually, and adjusting the time accuracy required considerable skill and time.
This made highly accurate watches very expensive.
The Brand brothers then developed a movement that would allow for streamlined production by standardizing parts to make them interchangeable. This shortened development time and kept prices low, while still achieving incredible accuracy for the time.
The Brand brothers named this movement "Ω," the last letter of the Greek alphabet, to convey the meaning of "ultimate," and also changed the name of their company to the current "Omega Watch Company."
This Omega is equipped with the Cal. 420 , an improved version of the 30mm caliber, which is known as a masterpiece of Omega's hand-wound movements.
This model is a "no name" model with no pet name.
The warm cream-colored dial features a finely textured guilloche pattern.
The delicate guilloche engraving decorated with geometric patterns reduces the reflection of the light that hits the dial, creating a matte, heavy-looking appearance.
It also improves visibility during the day.
The simple composition of the watch, consisting of only bar indexes, dolphin hands and the OMEGA logo, is a refined and uncluttered design unique to the 1950s , highlighting the functional beauty of the watch.
The calm expression evolved through aging gives off a simple yet strong presence. This is a watch that allows you to enjoy a truly one-of-a-kind vintage Omega.
The movement is equipped with a 17- jewel hand-wound Cal. 420 .
This is a miniaturized version of Omega's famous hand-wound 30mm caliber, and is a rare movement that was only produced for about three years.
This is an excellent movement that not only achieves high precision, but also pursues mechanical beauty, including a beautiful red mechanism and sunburst finish on the gears.
Size: height: 40.7mm , width: 34.8mm , thickness: 9.6mm , weight: 33g .
It is thin and small, so it is easy to wear even for people with thin wrists.
The simple design can be used for a wide range of occasions, from business to casual.
It's easy to incorporate into a variety of outfits, and it's fun to change the belt to suit the season or your outfit of the day.
The condition is good, there are some scuff marks on the back cover, but no other noticeable scratches.
The dial is in excellent condition with no corrosion or chips and excellent visibility.
The movement is working without any problems.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard Brown.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
