Introducing the Omega Seamaster Cal.471 in the 1950s .

" Cal.470 ", Omega's first full-rotation, bi-directional wind-up model that appeared in 1955 .
Compared to the semi-rotating rotor, which could only rotate 180 degrees until then, the full-rotating rotor, which can rotate 360 degrees, has improved performance in terms of winding efficiency and time accuracy.
" Cal.471 " installed in this Seamaster is the successor model of " Cal.470 ".

The number of stones has been increased from 17 to 20 , and the precision and practicality of the watch have been improved by installing a leaf screw balance and an anti-shock device, and it is finished with a beautiful red machine.
The 400 series caliber is a rare model because the number of production itself is small.

Apart from the rarity of the caliber, the Seamaster also has features that can only be found on the outside.
Looking at the case size, the later Seamasters are mostly 37.5mm (including the crown), but this one is 32.5mm (including the crown), which is a small size.
However, with a thickness of 11 mm , it has a characteristic thickness that makes it plump when viewed from the side.
It's a small size, but it's solid and thick, so when you wear it, it gives off a modest yet unique presence.
Recommended for those looking for a small watch, those with narrow wrists, and women.

The dial has a slightly different color between the center and the outer circumference, creating shadows depending on how the light hits it, an unusual specification that gives the dial a sense of depth.
It also has good visibility.

The upright wedge index and the dolphin hands with dry luminous paint are a perfect match.
The case has a simple shape, but it has a wonderful design that you will never get tired of, as the expression changes depending on the angle you look at the dial.

Movement is in good condition.
The case is so beautiful that it's hard to believe it's from the 50 's, and the edges are solid.
A versatile piece that goes well with a variety of styles, from formal to casual.
