Introducing the 1958 Omega Seamaster.

Speedmaster, Constellation, De Ville ... Omega continues to produce many historic models that have left their mark on the history of watches.
Among them, the Seamaster was announced as the world's first waterproof automatic wristwatch.

It is a long-selling model that has been on sale since its birth in 1948 and continues to be loved by watch fans around the world.

The Seamaster comes in a variety of designs, and is a watch that is prone to individual differences in the changes to the dial and case that occur as a result of aging.

It's an interesting watch to look for by comparing the color, case shape, index specifications, etc. to find the one that suits your taste.

This Seamaster is equipped with Cal. 490 , a fully rotating movement that appeared in the 1950s .
The Seamaster, which features a small second system with the second hand located at the 6 o'clock position and an automatic winding mechanism, was produced in small numbers and is a rare specimen.

The dial is a silver dial with a unique luster and vertical stripes that sets it apart from the usual sunray finish.
The unique uneven appearance gives a sense of weight and draws the viewer's eye.

The strong yet elegant dolphin hands and highly artistic wedge-shaped indexes.
The small seconds hand at 6 o'clock adds a classic touch and completes the overall balance beautifully.

It is a timepiece that is understated yet has a definite presence, truly symbolizing the dignity of an adult.

The movement is a 17- jewel automatic, Cal. 490 .

This model is an improved version of Omega's first fully automatic men's caliber 470 , and is a highly practical movement with improved accuracy and shock-resistant features.

Size: height: 41.4mm , width: 36.7mm , thickness: 10.8mm , weight: 38g .

It is comfortable to wear, and even though it has an automatic winding mechanism, it is thin and lightweight, so you won't get tired even if you wear it for a long time.

The simple design means it can be worn with a wide range of outfits, from suits and jackets to denim shirts and leather jackets.
The impression changes when you change the strap, so it's fun to change it according to the season.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial shows no visible stains or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.

Comes with Bambi Scotchguard and brown strap.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
