OMEGA 60's Constellation Cal.564
OMEGA 60's Constellation Cal.564
Introducing the Omega Constellation from the 1960s .
Constellation means "constellation" in English.
As the name suggests, the back of the watch is inlaid with a star symbol and a medallion reminiscent of an observatory and constellations.
The reason why it was chosen as an observatory is that competitions to judge the accuracy of watches were held at observatories, and observatories were positioned as a symbol of high precision.
In 1983 , Omega (Constellation) was so successful that it accounted for 45 % of all chronometer certificates issued.
This is a wonderful watch that deserves to be one of the most representative models of Omega watches.
Gerald Genta has had a huge influence on Swiss watch design.
The C- line case, designed by him, is said to be one of his early masterpieces.
The lugs and case are integrated into one form, and the beautiful case lines feature smooth edges, creating a stunning case design that seamlessly combines strength and elegance .
The dial is a silver dial with a sunburst finish that gives it a distinctive radial luster.
At the 12 o'clock position is the word " CHRONOMETER ", which has been certified by Swiss chronometer standards for its high level of precision.
At the 6 o'clock position, the Constellation pet name is displayed with a star emblem.
The Constellation is a watch with a perfectly calculated case and dial.
This is a masterpiece watch that has the dignity worthy of Omega's top model.
The movement is equipped with Cal.564 , a 24 -jewel automatic movement.
Due to its high precision, the chronometer-spec Cal. 564 is considered one of Omega's most representative movements.
It is also beautiful to look at, with the red gold-plated machinery and polished screws and gears giving it an air of dignity.
This movement is not only stylish but also practical, as it is equipped with a calendar function and a date fast-forward function.
Size: height: 40.3mm , width: 37.2mm , thickness: 11.1mm , weight: 49g .
Although it is an automatic winding model, its thickness is kept to a minimum, making it comfortable to wear and less tiring even when worn for long periods of time.
The elegant case design goes well with suits and jackets, of course, but the pale gold color can also be used as an accent for denim and leather jackets.
The condition is good with only minor scratches on the case and no noticeable scratches or wear to the gold.
The dial is in good condition with no corrosion.
The movement has some peeling plating on the rotor, but it still works without any problems.
The calendar function also works without any problems.
It is fitted with an OMEGA genuine windshield.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
