Introducing the Omega Seamaster from the 1960s .

In 1894 , the Louis Brandt brothers company, the predecessor of Omega, succeeded in developing a revolutionary movement.

Until then, watchmaking involved parts with different specifications that had to be adjusted one by one, and adjusting the timekeeping accuracy required considerable skill and time.
This made highly accurate watches very expensive.

The Brand brothers then developed a movement that would standardize parts to make them interchangeable and enable streamlined production. This allowed them to shorten development time and keep prices low while still achieving incredible accuracy for the time.

The Brand brothers named this movement "Ω," the last letter of the Greek alphabet, to convey the meaning of "ultimate," and also changed their company name to the current "Omega."

The Seamaster is Omega's signature long-selling model, having been manufactured since its launch in 1948 .
The Seamaster we are introducing this time is a highly designed watch with a beautiful design on the dial.

The beige dial, which has changed with age, has a rich look with raised vertical lines, creating an uneven surface.
The unique unevenness creates a ripple-like effect on the surface of water, capturing the viewer's attention.

The hands are alpha hands, which are unusual for a Seamaster and feature a sharp shape.
The index is a special index with a three- sided cut process that also gives it an impressive sharp glossy finish.

The Seamaster features an intricate design and exudes the atmosphere of a dress watch.
It is a tasteful watch that exudes elegance and sophistication.

The movement is a 24 jewel automatic, Cal. 552 .

Cal. 551 is a chronometer-certified movement that is installed in high-end watches, but the only difference between it and Cal. 552 is whether or not it has been certified as a chronometer.

Therefore, the basic performance of the movement is almost the same, and it is a movement that has been completed to a high level in all aspects, including precision, ease of maintenance, and practicality.

Size: height: 41.2mm , width: 36.1mm , thickness: 10.9mm , weight: 51g .

The Seamaster is truly versatile, able to suit both casual and dressy occasions.
Of course, its precision is guaranteed, and it also has the performance to withstand everyday use.

It can be used in a wide range of situations, from business to casual.

The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches from use and no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
