Introducing the Omega Seamaster from the 1960s .

Waterproofing and dustproofing have long been a major issue for wristwatches, and with the outbreak of World War II, demand for waterproof functionality in wristwatches increased rapidly.

At the time, Omega supplied the British military with large quantities of watches with round, waterproof screw-back cases.
After the war, when Omega considered what movement would be suitable for this waterproof case, they came up with the idea of using an automatic movement in order to avoid having to pull out the crown, which poses the risk of water and dust getting in.

Thus, by combining a screw-back waterproof case with an automatic movement, the Seamaster was born in 1948 as the world's first waterproof automatic wristwatch.

The Seamaster is one of Omega's most representative models.
Since its release in 1948 , the Seamaster has been produced in a variety of designs up to the present day.

The plain-looking Seamaster we are introducing this time is a watch that has gained immense popularity around the world due to its high practicality.
However, recently there are fewer of them on the market, and taking into account their condition, they are becoming increasingly rare.

The dial is a silver dial with a sunray finish.
The hands and indexes are dolphin hands that give a sense of strength, and upright bar indexes made of black onyx are used.

Although simple, its outstanding design makes it instantly recognizable as a Seamaster, and it is highly versatile and can be freely matched with any style.

The condition is very good, with a beautiful dial and case that you wouldn't believe was made in the 1960s .
Furthermore, it comes with an original windshield with the Omega mark, and to top it off, it is fitted with an original rice bracelet.

This is without a doubt a Seamaster that will lift your spirits.

The movement is equipped with Cal.562 , an automatic winding watch with 24 jewels.

Omega's 500 series automatic movement is not only highly accurate, but also boasts stable operation, durable construction, and ease of maintenance, making it a highly practical choice.

In addition, to make it look beautiful, it is red gold plated and each and every part is chamfered, allowing you to feel the attention to detail of the craftsmen at the time.

Size: height: 43.1mm , width: 36.9mm , thickness: 10.5mm , weight: 72g .
The size is very comfortable to wear, and can be worn with confidence not only by men but also by women who want a slightly larger watch.

The simple design is suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business and dress styles to casual styles such as denim jackets.

Condition: The edges of the case are well preserved and there are no noticeable scratches.

The dial is in good condition with no wear or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly without any issues.
Comes with original Omega box.
