Introducing the 1962 Omega "Seamaster".

The Seamaster is one of Omega's flagship collections.
Its history began in 1948, the brand's centennial year.

The Seamaster was born from the experience of military watches used in harsh environments.
While inheriting the reliability and water resistance developed through those experiences, the Seamaster evolved into a watch that could be worn in a variety of everyday situations.

This 1962 model was born from that very evolution of the Seamaster.
While having a solid background as a practical watch, it also possesses the charm typical of a Seamaster from that era, blending naturally with any outfit.

■Dial and Case Design

The base is a white dial.
Over many years, the entire dial has taken on a beige tone, with variations in color around the outer edge and logo.
Unlike a uniform color, the patina unique to vintage pieces gives this individual watch a striking appearance.

The dial features three-dimensional bar indices and wide Dauphine hands.
The date display at 3 o'clock is outlined, drawing attention within the clean dial.
The silver-colored Omega logo can appear golden due to the surrounding patina, further emphasizing its three-dimensional quality.
The cursive "Seamaster" lettering also adds a soft accent to the dial.

The round case gives a gentle impression when viewed from the front, while the angled edges of the lugs give the overall design a sharp finish.
The clean line extending from the bezel to the case side creates a sleek silhouette within the rounded form.
The case back features a Seahorse medallion, and the crown is fitted with an original Omega crown.
This is a watch that allows you to appreciate the brand's character down to the smallest detail.

■Movement

The movement is equipped with Omega's Cal.562 automatic movement.
As indicated by the "TWENTY-FOUR JEWELS" engraving visible in the photograph, it features 24 jewels and beats at 19,800 vibrations per hour.
The power reserve listed in Omega's technical documentation is approximately 38 hours.

The rotor is engraved with "OMEGA WATCH CO SWISS" and "Cal.562", and together with the warm copper-colored parts, it shapes the character of the movement.
This is the movement that powered the 1960s Seamaster, featuring an automatic mechanism with a date display.

■Styling

The case size is 41.3mm in height (including lugs) / 36.2mm in width (including crown) / 10mm in thickness / 37g in weight (including strap)

This is a charming watch with a soft color palette, as the white dial has taken on a beige tone over the years.
The stainless steel case and black leather strap give the overall design a sharp finish, allowing you to feel the vintage character within its understated atmosphere.

When paired with a jacket or shirt, it adds a touch of elegance to your outfit.
Even when incorporated into a more relaxed style such as knitwear or a sweatshirt, the warm color of the dial blends in naturally.
The original Omega crown is also a detail that brings a subtle sense of unity to the wrist.

■Condition

Small scratches from use are visible on the case, but there is no major noticeable damage, and the overall condition is consistent.

Color changes due to age are visible on the dial, but there are no issues with the visibility of the hands or indices.

Dirt from age is visible on the movement, but it is currently operating without issues.

●Please be sure to read the following information after purchasing an antique watch●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately upon receipt of your order.
Instead, we request a professional watchmaker to perform an overhaul (hereinafter "OH"), and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (The period is approximately 1–2 months.)

A professional watchmaker with a first-class watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, and perform a thorough OH including cleaning and oiling,
adjusting the watch to within ±1 minute per day.
We will also send our store's original OH certificate, along with photographs of the movement disassembled
and serviced during the OH, so you can see what work was performed.

Of course, due to the nature of the product being used, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we provide this level of service so that you can enjoy the watch's original performance
and use it with peace of mind in the future, so please understand.

At the time of purchase, we offer a 1-year warranty period depending on the model. Even for products past the warranty period, we will still accept repair requests for a fee.
