Introducing the Omega "Geneva" made in 1967 .
The Louis Brandt Brothers Company, the predecessor of Omega, succeeded in developing a revolutionary movement in 1894. Until then, watchmaking was dominated by parts with different specifications, which required individual adjustments, and adjustments to time accuracy required advanced technology and a lot of time.
Therefore, a highly accurate watch was very expensive. Therefore, the Brand brothers developed a movement that would enable rational production by standardizing and interchangeably using parts. This approach allowed them to achieve astonishing accuracy while shortening development time and reducing costs.
The Brand brothers named this movement "Ω," the last letter of the Greek alphabet, which means "ultimate," and changed the name of their company to the current "Omega Watch Company."
"Geneva" is the name of the Swiss city.
This model was sold from the 1950s to the 1970s , and was praised for its simple, beautiful design and high practicality, making it a favorite with many people.
The name "Geneva" comes from the city of Geneva, the watchmaking centre of Switzerland.
Geneva is characterized by its simple and elegant design.
The beautiful gold case is plated with 40 microns of gold, giving it an elegant luster that further enhances the classic beauty of the dial.
The dial is a silver sunburst dial with upright bar indexes and pencil hands. The slender indexes and delicate hands maintain an elegant balance, and the date display at the 3 o'clock position perfectly harmonizes practicality with design.
Combining elegance and dignity, the Geneva is one of the classic watches that beautifully adorns the wrist.
The movement is equipped with Cal.565 , an automatic winding watch with 24 jewels.
This movement was also installed in the Seamaster of the time, and boasts high precision and reliability.
In addition, it is highly durable and easy to maintain, making it suitable for everyday use, so it is recommended for those who are handling vintage watches for the first time.
The date is equipped with a quick change function that can be operated by the crown.
It can be said to be one of the classic movements.
Size: height: 40.3mm , width: 36.1mm , thickness: 10.4mm , weight: 38g .
It is small, so it is easy to wear for people with thin wrists and women.
The simple and elegant design goes well with formal and elegant styles such as jackets and coats.
The gold color of the case blends well with the skin when worn, and when combined with black, navy, etc., it adds a touch of glamour to your wrist.
The case is in good condition with no peeling plating or scratches.
The dial is beautiful, free of dirt and corrosion, and has excellent visibility.
The movement is in good working order and the calendar function works smoothly.
Comes with a Bambi Scott Guard black belt.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
