Introducing the 1968 Omega "Ladymatic".

The Ladymatic was a collection of women's automatic watches developed by Omega in the 1950s.

At the time, ladies' watches needed to be housed in small cases, so incorporating an automatic winding mechanism required highly advanced technology.

Within this context, the Ladymatic emerged as a model that combined a compact size with practicality and an elegant design, becoming one of Omega's series that showcased its technical prowess.

From the 1950s to the 1960s, a wide range of designs were offered, from glamorous dress watches to simple styles, and they remain highly popular today as vintage Omega ladies' models.

■Dial and Case Design

The dial is a silver dial that has transformed into a soft gold tone due to aging.

The original bright color, combined with the warmth that has developed over the years, gives it a deep, vintage watch-like character.

The unique atmosphere created by aging is a major charm of this particular piece.

The indices are slender applied bar indices.
While simple in composition, the three-dimensional indices create a pleasing depth even within the small dial.

The hands are sword-shaped, gradually widening from the base to the tip.
The sharp lines tighten the overall dial, adding a refined touch to the classic impression.

The case is a rounded stainless steel case.

Despite its small size, the lugs are long and sleek, giving it a delicate femininity while retaining the refined atmosphere characteristic of vintage Omega.

This is a tasteful ladies' watch where the combination of the aged dial and the stainless steel case shines through in a simple design.

■Movement

The movement is Omega's automatic Cal. 671.

Despite being a small movement for ladies' watches, it is designed with 24 jewels, making it a machine that reflects the high practicality typical of Omega at the time.

Housing an automatic winding mechanism in a small case requires advanced design technology.

The Cal. 671 is one such movement that showcases the technical appeal of ladies' watches from the 1960s.

It offers the ease of use of an automatic watch in daily life while also allowing you to enjoy the quality craftsmanship of a mechanical timepiece.

■Styling

Case size: 27.3mm vertical (including lugs) / 23.8mm horizontal (including crown) / 8.9mm thick / 14g weight

The dial, which has changed to a soft gold tone, is easy to incorporate like an accessory, adding a subtle elegance to your wrist.

For formal attire, it blends naturally with blouses and jackets, creating an understated yet refined impression.

Due to its compact case size, it pairs well with bracelets and rings, elegantly coordinating your wrist.

For casual wear, it also pairs well with knitwear, dresses, or simple shirt styles.

With its unobtrusive size and the warm appearance unique to vintage, this watch adds a natural accent to your everyday outfits.

■Condition

Regarding the condition, the dial shows discoloration due to aging.

There are no chips or peeling on the dial, and the hands and indices are clearly visible, so there are no issues with legibility.

As for the case, there are some minor scratches on the case back, but they are not very noticeable when worn and do not pose any problem for use.

Overall, the condition allows you to enjoy the vintage aesthetic while being able to use it safely in everyday life.

●Important information after purchasing an antique watch, please be sure to read●

At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately upon order.
Instead, we request an overhaul (hereinafter OH) from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This usually takes about 1-2 months.)

A specialized craftsman with a Level 1 watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean, lubricate, and perform a thorough OH,
maintaining an accuracy of approximately ±1 minute per day.
When delivered, we will also send our original OH certificate detailing the work performed, along with photos of the movement during disassembly and maintenance.

Of course, due to the nature of used products, there is no absolute guarantee that the watch will not break, but we take these measures so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch
and use it with confidence in the future. We appreciate your understanding.

When purchasing a product, a 1-year warranty period is provided depending on the model. Even for products past the warranty period, we accept repair requests for a fee.
