Here we introduce the 1969 Omega "Geneve".
The "Geneve," one of Omega's flagship collections, was born in 1953.
Its name derives from Geneva, a city known as the center of the Swiss watch industry.
Initially, Geneve was used as a special designation for models equipped with high-precision movements that achieved excellent results in observatory competitions.
Later, in the late 1960s, it developed into an independent collection.
While inheriting Omega's excellent watchmaking technology, many models were produced with a refined and approachable design.
The Geneve's appeal also lies in its rich variations of cases and dials, mainly dress watches, and its highly flexible design reflecting the trends of the time.
■Dial and Case Design
Based on a silver dial, it features a refined and highly legible design combining three-dimensional bar indexes and slender pencil hands.
The subdued luster of silver shows soft expressions depending on how the light hits it, enhancing the elegance unique to a small ladies' model.
A black line runs through the center of the indexes and hands, adding a pleasant contrast to the simple dial.
A framed date display is positioned at 3 o'clock, enhancing practicality without disrupting the overall balance.
The case features a rounded form combined with linear lugs.
Despite its small size, the protruding lugs and three-dimensional crystal give it a substantial presence on the wrist.
This timepiece exudes the dignity characteristic of vintage Omega with its sharp, unadorned appearance.
■Movement
The movement installed is Omega's "Cal.681," an automatic ladies' movement developed in the 1960s.
Despite being a small movement, it is highly practical, equipped with both an automatic winding mechanism and a date function.
With 24 jewels and 19,800 vibrations per hour, it pursues stability and accuracy suitable for daily use.
The design, which houses each mechanism in a limited space, reflects the advanced watchmaking technology Omega had cultivated at the time.
Even though it is a small and elegant ladies' watch, the fact that it is equipped with a genuine automatic movement and a date function is also a unique appeal of this model.
This is a recommended timepiece for those who want to easily incorporate a mechanical watch into their daily lives or for those choosing their first vintage Omega.
■Styling
Case size: 26.8mm (including lugs) / 23.2mm (including crown) / 9.6mm thick / 14g (including strap)
The small case and silver dial make for a subtle yet elegant look on the wrist.
It pairs well with elegant outfits such as blouses and dresses, and also blends naturally with jacket styles.
Due to its modest size, it's an easy piece for those not accustomed to wearing watches to incorporate.
Additionally, its simple design makes it a great match for layering with accessories.
By pairing it with silver rings or bracelets, you can enjoy a coordinated and sophisticated look.
This vintage watch is not easily affected by trends and is versatile enough for both everyday wear and formal occasions.
■Condition
Although there are slight signs of use on the case due to age, there are no noticeable scratches or major damage, maintaining a good condition.
The dial also shows no noticeable discoloration or damage, and the indexes, hands, and markings remain clear, providing excellent legibility.
The installed automatic movement "Cal.681" is currently operating smoothly.
Both the exterior and movement are well-balanced in condition, making this a timepiece that can continue to be enjoyed as a practical watch.

●Important information after purchasing an antique watch, please read carefully●
At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not deliver them immediately after you place an order.
Instead, we request an overhaul (OH) from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This usually takes about 1-2 months.)
A specialist with a first-class watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, and lubricate it.
We thoroughly overhaul the watch to a daily rate of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the watch, we will also include our unique OH certificate and photos of the mechanical disassembly and maintenance work performed.
Of course, due to the nature of used products, there is no guarantee that the watch will never break, but we take these measures so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future. We appreciate your understanding.
When purchasing a product, a 1-year warranty period is provided depending on the model. Even for products outside the warranty period, we offer repair services for a fee.
Please feel free to consult us even if you do not have a repair shop nearby.
