Introducing the Omega Seamaster, made in 1963 .
OMEGA's signature collection, the Seamaster, was launched in 1948 .
Its origins lie in the waterproof watches supplied to the British military during World War II, and this model sublimates the reliable technology cultivated through military use into a more elegant form suitable for everyday use.
When the Seamaster was first released, it was introduced as "the world's first automatic watch with a waterproof case structure."
The concept is "in the city, by the sea, in the suburbs."
As a waterproof dress watch that can be used in any situation, it has gained the trust of many people and continues to be loved as a long-selling collection that has continued to evolve since its release.
■Dial and case design
The Seamaster has an attractive, refined look reminiscent of the 1960s .
The dial is silver.
As it ages, the color has turned a pale champagne, and depending on the light it can appear silver or a warm color emerge, changing appearance depending on the angle, making it a piece you'll never get bored of looking at.
Also, due to aging, specks called "spots" are scattered across the dial.
The way the light hits it creates a fluctuation in the expression, giving a sense of depth.
This is a unique feature of vintage watches that have stood the test of time.
The index is a neat bar type with a dark line in the center.
The outlines are not blurred, and the minimalist design does not become monotonous.
The logo is neatly placed, highlighting the well-balanced layout unique to non-date watches.
The case has a simple design that shows off the texture of the mirror finish.
The not-too-thin bezel nicely complements the white space on the dial, giving the watch a neat and tidy look.
When viewed from the side, the lugs have a gently sloping line that fits comfortably on the wrist.
It's a balance that doesn't stand out too much, but still looks neat.
The crown has an Omega mark, subtly highlighting the key points.
Furthermore, this particular watch is fitted with a rare genuine Omega rice bracelet.
The unique look created by the granular links is one of the details that retains the atmosphere of the time.
The number of existing pieces is decreasing, and there are only a limited number of pieces available including bracelets.
■ Movement

The movement is Omega's in-house automatic caliber 552 with 24 jewels.
It has a no-date display and a simple structure, making it easy to use even for those who are new to vintage watches.
Furthermore, the Cal. 552 is easy to maintain and parts are readily available on the market, so you can use it for a long time with peace of mind, provided that you maintain it properly.
This is a movement that is easy to use as an everyday watch without any fuss.
Looking at it from the back, you can see the red gold-colored base plate and rotor engraving, making it a very interesting piece of machinery.
With its elegant exterior, this is a watch that can be enjoyed from both the front and back.
■Styling
Case size: height: 42.6mm , width: 36.8mm , thickness: 10.7mm , weight: 70g .
It goes well with a navy or gray jacket and white shirt, a neat style, and gives your wrist a tidy look.
The dial, which changes from silver to pale champagne, is not too bold and will not interfere with your outfit.
On the weekends, this piece will naturally blend in with casual combinations such as plain knits, sweatshirts and denim, adding a subtle touch of elegance.
■ Condition
The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no problems with use.
It is fitted with a genuine Omega rice bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)
Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product, but there will be a fee. Even if there is no repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
