ORIENT 70's AAA Crystal
ORIENT 70's AAA Crystal
Introducing the Orient "Three Ace Crystal" in the 1970s .
In the 1950s , as Japanese watch manufacturing began to gain momentum, Orient moved ahead of other domestic manufacturers to capture overseas markets such as China and the United States.
However, in order to compete overseas, where Swiss watches already dominated the market, Orient launched sales with the originality of ``high quality, low prices, and designs that cannot be found in Swiss watches.''
As a result, this strategy was successful, and the number of watches returned for repair is overwhelmingly higher than that of Swiss watches, and Orient has definitely grown into a manufacturer that enjoys high trust and reputation in overseas markets as well. I'll go.
" AAA (Triple Ace)" means the trump card (ace) in the three fields of performance, price, and design, and is a series that is made with particular effort among the many Orient products.
The thick round case, crystal glass with cut edges, upright bar indexes, and large design of each part make it look larger than the actual case size, making it instantly recognizable as an Orient watch. It has been designed with an impact that makes it easy to understand.
The movement is automatic with 30 jewels.
It is equipped with a day-date function that displays the date and day of the week, and the date can be quickly advanced by pressing the push button at the 2 o'clock position.
It is also equipped with a shock-resistant device and is self-winding, making it an easy-to-use movement for everyday use.
Size: Height: 44.2mm , Width: 40.2mm , Thickness: 12.8mm .
It has a simple yet impressive design, and despite its solid appearance, it is lightweight.
Replacing it with a nylon belt gives it a more casual look, making it easy to incorporate into casual clothing such as T- shirts.
The edges of the case are still intact and the movement is in good working order.
During the initial maintenance stage, the glass windshield is replaced with a new one.
Although it has a distinctive appearance, it has a day-date function, automatic winding, and is actually a 40m waterproof case and a highly designed and practical AAA crystal.
It is also a watch whose impression changes depending on the strap, so it is easy to incorporate into various styles and enjoy changing.
