Introducing Orient's "Chamade" from the 1960s .

In the 1950s , as wristwatch manufacturing began to pick up steam in Japan, Orient took the lead among other domestic manufacturers and began to develop overseas markets.

At the time, Swiss-made watches already had an overwhelming share of the Western market, but Orient began selling its products worldwide, promoting "high quality at low prices, with unique designs not found in Switzerland."

As part of this strategy, Orient's in-house movements were highly praised, while the company continued to innovate in terms of design. In particular, the company's launch of the world's first square watch for ladies influenced other watch makers and became the catalyst for the trend of square watches.

Orient's continued pursuit of functionality and beauty has led to the company increasing its presence and establishing a solid position not only in Japan but also in the global watch market.

Orient's ladies' model, "Chamade," quietly accentuates sophisticated femininity.
The small tonneau shape fits comfortably on the wrist, exuding an understated yet elegant presence.

The dial features a beautiful gradation that is based on a deep navy tone and becomes slightly brighter towards the center.
Whenever it catches the light, a soft, velvety luster emerges.

The indexes and hands are uniformly silver in color, giving the watch a cool yet feminine finish.

This distinctive bracelet is attractive for its unique texture with delicate stripes.
It can be worn like jewelry and like a bracelet, adding a touch of elegance to your everyday outfit.

"Chamade" has a lovely yet somewhat dignified expression.

The movement is a hand-wound type with 21 jewels.

Size: height: 23.3mm , width: 16.8mm , thickness: 7.9mm , weight: 16g .

The attractive, classical and delicate design of the Chamade pairs well with classic styles such as tailored jackets and blouse and skirt sets, as well as casual outfits that combine shirts and denim, making it a piece that blends naturally into a variety of scenes, from everyday use to special occasions.

The condition of the case is without any noticeable scratches or chips.
There are some slightly dirty areas, but the case will be cleaned during the overhaul after purchase.
The dial remains in beautiful condition with good visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
