Introducing Pronto's "Antimagnetic" from the 1950s .
Pronto was founded in 1890 by Leon Maitre in Le Noirmont, Switzerland, and was originally called " Leon Maitre & Fils Co. "
It later became known as " Pronto Watch Co. L. Maitre & Fils SA" .
When the company was first founded, it manufactured cylinder and anchor-type watches and movements, and also supplied them to many brands on an OEM basis .
This is a long-established watch brand that has a record of producing high-quality military watches for the German Wehrmacht during wartime.
A Pronto hand-wound model manufactured in the 1950s .
The dial changes to a beautiful ivory color with age.
It has the warmth that only vintage can provide.
The design features a double structure with a minute track engraved on the outer periphery and a 24- hour display in the center.
The combination of classic Roman indexes and Arabic numerals on the inside provides both visibility and decorativeness.
The blued steel hands have a nice aged look and emit a subdued glow that can only be achieved by a time-honored watch.
The case has a round shape combined with three-dimensional lugs.
The texture, which combines satin and polish, is simple yet heavy, and the flowing curves of the rug look beautiful even when viewed from the side.
The timeless design is a piece that will remain with the wearer for many years to come.
The movement is a hand-wound type with 17 jewels.
Its robust and simple structure makes it easy to maintain and it still operates reliably today.
It is also highly practical as it is equipped with an earthquake-resistant device that is highly resistant to impacts.
Combining the precision finish and practicality of a Swiss watch, this watch can be used with confidence by anyone, from vintage watch beginners to enthusiasts.
Size: Height: 37.9mm , Width: 34.9mm , Thickness: 10.1mm , Weight: 30g .
The classic dial and calm size add elegance to jacket styles and also make a nice accent for casual outfits such as shirts.
The timeless, simple design blends naturally into your everyday wardrobe, making it a watch that will enhance your wrist whether you're on or off the job.
The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or chips.
Like the case, the dial is in excellent condition with no wear or corrosion and excellent visibility.
The movement is also running smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)
Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.
