Introducing the Rado Overpole from the 1970s .

Rado is known as the "Master of Materials".
While each watch manufacturer develops its own unique style in terms of movement precision and functionality, Rado has focused on the development of case materials and poured its efforts into material development, setting itself apart from the rest in the form of its own unique style.

The Diastar, released in 1962 , surprised the world as the world's first watch with a super-hard case made of tungsten and titanium carbide, and made the Rado name known.

Rado continues to use a variety of materials for its cases, creating new trends in the watch industry with its unique case materials.

The Rado Overpole we are introducing this time is a derivative model of the Captain Cook diver model released in the 1960s , and has high water resistance.

It features a chunky, angular case design, and the back cover is engraved with the "Seahorse Mark," a sign of its waterproofness.

The indexes and hands are bar indexes that emphasize the three-dimensional effect, and pencil hands that have a strong appearance and excellent visibility.

The silver dial has a hairline finish, giving it a dull glow that exudes a sense of solidity.

At the 12 o'clock position is the rotating anchor mark, which is the Rado symbol.

The Overpole is full of Rado's charm, not only in its case material but also in its design, which is not bound by conventional concepts.

The movement is a 25 jewel automatic, Cal. AS1858 .

Cal. AS1858 is equipped with a famous machine from Ashield, which is also used in Rado's Horse series.
This is a highly practical movement, with an excellent automatic winding mechanism and a calendar function.

Size: height: 40.7mm , width: 37.6mm , thickness: 12.3mm , weight: 85g .

It has a solid, voluminous size, but the thickness is not too strong, so you don't have to worry about the sleeves getting caught when you wear a shirt, and it fits well.
The casual, futuristic design is interesting when incorporated into tech items.

The condition of the case is good with no noticeable scratches and the edges remaining firm.
The dial is in beautiful condition with no noticeable stains or wear.
The movement runs smoothly and the calendar function works without any issues.

It is equipped with a genuine Rado bracelet.
Although part of the belt connection was damaged during storage, it can still be used as usual without any problems.

*If you wish, we can provide you with a Bambi metal bracelet instead of the leather strap that comes with your purchase.

Comes with original storage box and price tag.

Please be sure to read the following information after purchasing an antique watch.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
